You had started walking with Ghost and König to the training room , enjoying the silence that came with it . They had already taught you your academics for the day so now you were going to
To do the basics and train with Ghost . You wore some basic training shorts and a shirt that said army on it . Soap had some of his old clothes from basics with him and he lent it to you so you could train , it was a bit big on you but you made dew with it .
" Are you nervous ?."
König asked, looking down at you as you went towards a big yard to the outside .
" I'm not nervous...kinda excited ."
You said with a tiny smile .
" good to hear ."
Ghost said as he held open the doors and you walked outside to a big yard . Dirt and sand mixed together along with the humidity from the rain that has poured . You were in a forest-like area covered in trees and brush . a table was laid out with weapons and König sat down fiddling with his veil as he sat against the brick wall surrounding the perimeter watching you and ghost .
" Today we are going to learn basic hand in hand."
Ghost said sternly .
You stood straight up and you paid attention as much as you could .
" We'll start with some warm ups and then get into it ."
He said firmly , König watching as this happened.

You tilted your head confused and didn't know what that was or what it meant .
Ghost cursed to himself and he started to jog in place and show you . you got the jist of it and you started to do it with him . You may have been 14 but you still had a lot to learn. There were certain things you didn't know but there were also other things that you knew that have helped you alot . After a few minutes you started to feel the burning sensation in your legs , you kept going but Ghost then said stop . you stopped dead in your tracks and you looked up at him waiting for the next move patiently .
'' now for push-ups .''
He got down and he showed you how to do a pushup .
You went to try it for yourself but failed miserably . when you did you got panicked thinking you were gonna get hit .

You said quickly and frantically while getting up and blocking your face thinking you were gonna get hit . Ghost noticed how frantic you got when you messed up and he knew why but you hadn't told him that you had gotten beat when you messed up . He knew already that you had gotten abused just by the scars and the way you held up your hands after messing up. He knelt down in front of you and he went to reach out his hand slowly to grab your hands and you flinched away from his touch and you let loose and your hands let off some flames onto his gloves lighting them on fire a bit . Ghost pulled away and he brushed off his hands putting out the fire that was on his gloves , keeping his cool .
'' oi blaze it's okay , i won't hurt you . you messed up and that's okay . well keep trying until you succeed and get better at it .''
He said gently and calmly .
Konig got up and was ready to go over but Ghost shot him a look basically saying that he had it handled and Konig slumped down back into his spot , parched up against the wall and he continued to watch .

The fire slowly went out from your hands and went away and you pulled down your hands slowly and Ghost . still kneeled down , held out his hand to you .
'' mistakes happen , we learn from them and we try to better ourselves to be better to make sure we don't make a mistake but it happens and that's okay .''
Ghost reassured you .
'' i'm sorry i lit your glove on fire ..''
You said quietly .
'' it's alright .''
Ghost said , forgiving you .
You controlled your fire and used it around certain people but when around doctors you never dared do it . not after what they had done the first time you burned one of the doctors in an accident that had happened when you first got your powers .
'' blaze ?.''
You said back to him, confused a bit .
''Yeah , ya knew nickname .''
Ghost lightly chuckled .
Konig hears the nickname from afar and he smiles to himself , knowing that the nickname fits you perfectly .

You said with a little smile .
Ghost showed you the warm ups and you kept practicing and soon got the hang of it in just an hour . your chest rose up and down from the breathtaking workout that Ghost had just done with you . He was unaffected by this being that he was used to this type of training . you stood hunched over , your hands on your knees . breathing a bit heavily trying to catch your breath .
Ghost waited patiently for you to catch your breath and he stood and watched your movement. You brushed off yourself and you stood up straight and looked at Ghost waiting for another move .
'' now i want you to throw a FIRELESS punch at me .''
Ghost said saying firless a bit louder so you understood not to burn him . This made you giggle a bit and Ghost stood up straight and he waited for you to be ready . all you did was stare at him confused as to why he wanted you to punch him .
'' why do you want me to hurt you ?.''
You said, you were confused and a bit concerned .
'' i'll be okay , this is part of learning how to fight ya know .''
Ghost said simply .
'' okay ''
You said quietly , steadying your breath .
You raised your fist to him and went to punch him straight in his stomach . He reacted quickly and he blocked your punch grabbing your fist . you looked up at him and raised his eyebrows under his mask with a smirk . you couldn't see it but you felt it .
'' your objective is to stop me from blocking you and to take me down .''
Ghost said as he waited for you to get in your ready stance . you placed your feet in your ready position and came up with a new attack to get him down . you went and threw a swing and Ghost went to block again but instead you slid through his legs, got behind him and kicked him in the back of his leg where his knee would be causing him to fall over . You raised your hand in the air and did a fist pump and you got excited and giggled a bit but while ghost was still down he moved quickly and swung his leg knocking you off your feet causing you to fall on your butt .you landed on your elbows as well causing you to wince in a pain by the pain son faded .
" Always stay alert . "
Ghost said while you rubbed your elbow , he took his hand and held it out to you and you both got up .

You said while wiping off the dirt on your clothes .
You and Ghost continued to train and you got better and quicker . sweat and dirt covered your legs and a few tiny cuts covered your arms and legs from falling . you got up quickly again and took another swing but Ghost grabbed your wrist pulling it behind you . you acted quickly and jumped up and pushed off him with your legs kicking him in his stomach causing him to

'' good job .''
Ghost said while catching his breath .
You gave him a smile indicating your proudness of yourself and you went over and helped Ghost up .
'' how about we go for food yeh ?.''
Ghost said while leading you to the door .
'' yeah .''
You said happily .
This is happiness .
You felt happy around them even if you just met them . you enjoyed being around them and you enjoyed the feeling . you had a little cheeky grin plastered across your face and you saw konig get up from the wall he was resting up against and he started to walk behind you .
'' blaze i want you to know that your safe with us ...you know we're not just doing this cause our general told us too but it's also cause well..we wanna keep you safe .''
Ghost awkwardly admitted to you .
Konig shot ghost a surprised look with his eyes and Ghost immediately turned his head quickly causing Konig to look away .
'' Ghost.....you know how when we first started talking and you asked me about my family and told me what family is ?.''
You said while taking it upon yourself and you held his finger while walking .
Ghost looked down at you and he let you hold his finger . He smiled under his mask and his gaze upon you softened .
'' yeh why ?.''

You said sheepishly .
Ghost eyes widened and konigs did as well .
Ghost was never soft , he was always cold , emotionless and harsh but somehow you pulled on his heart strings .

You headed through the hallways and passed double doors into the rec room mer by soap and gaz cooking . the air smelled amazing , you didn't know what it was but you sure as hello wanted to try it .
'' get ready to eat okay , go wash ya hands in the sink .''
Ghost spoke as he pointed to a small room next to the living room .
'' okay .''
You said and you walked to the bathroom quickly . The walls were painted white alone with white tile flooring and a mirror above the sink . you turned the sink nozzle and you took some soap and washed your hands getting ready for dinner . you finish washing your hands after a minute and you rinse them off, drying them with your shirt and running out of the bathroom and heading into the kitchen . Ghost handed you a bowl and your meal was some fried chicken , vegetables and some rice . it was better than the MRE but they were all still go and you were extremely grateful . you thanked soap and the others and you went and sat down and went to enjoy your meal .
