Chapter twenty

Ghost and the others woke up noticing that you were gone . Konig went into sheer panic and he started frantically looking for you but he also saw that the hostages were gone .  soap rubbed his head and groaned as he felt a pair of hands lift him off the ground and he saw that it was Alejandro . He had arrived with the squadron laswell sent after hearing what had happened about nova . 
'' alejandro !.''
Soap said as he shook his head with a tiny smile and noticed that the squadron alpha were there as well .
Ghost lifted himself off the ground and he went into a panic as well and fixed all his gear . Konig didn't feel like greeting the team and a Ghost brushed past the others getting a confused yet worried look .
'' we need to move they took y/n .''
Ghost said sternly and loudly .
'' load up the humvee and meet outside now .''
Ghost spat and ran out the room down the hallway and into the front . Konig followed and the others gave a worried  look towards each other and followed after him. Ghost got outside to the humvee and he got in the front and shut the door and started up the vehicle waiting for the others .
'' Ghost !.''
Soap yelled while he watched as Konig sat next to Ghost in the front and they both held rifles in hand . soap and gaz went in the back of the humvee with rifle in hand as well and Ghost gave them a cold glare .
'' were heading to find y/n now .''
Ghost said harshly . while starting to drive onto a dirt path .
'' alpha team , meet at these coordinate and get your asses moving now .''
Ghost spoke through the radio  as he sent them a ping on your lactation .
'' roger that L.t we have alejandro with us as well moving out .''
The sergeant said , static coming through in every sentence .
'' wait wait wait how the hell do you have her location ?''
Gaz  said, confused .
'' I put a tracker in her boots , like I said . don't trust anyone, not even your own soldiers . remember what happened with graves .''
Ghost said while speeding through the area and finally getting on actual roads and traveling .
He put you location on the screen in the radio system and he saw that you were located in
Texas . Soap had a shocked look on his face while Konig turned to ghost and was glad that he did what he did . They traveled for a few hours until they finally reached the birders  and got confirmation to cross and they were on their way . Konig was worried about you , he didn't want to see you get captured again but here you were long gone . you  started to burn down anything in your sight , hoping to erase anything that could potentially harm you . you didnt care if you got hurt and you didn't care that you were killed because they hurt you and did things that you cant erase  from your head .

Ghost picked up the pace as he saw a burning building nearby indicating that you were there . his eyes widened and he slammed on the gas pedal causing everyone in the humvee to jolt back .
'' holy fuck Ghost !.''
Gaz practically screamed while soap held onto him .
GHost sped up and he soon pulled in front of the building with the alpha team  noticing that it was brought from the back and he assumed that you got fed up and fought back . Ghost jolted the car causing everyone to slam their faces into the seats in front of them . Ghost got out of the cra and rushed towards the building but he saw something and ran over like no tomorrow . It was you . you were in a hospital nightgown and you had a bit of blood on your face . you looked around in the distance and you saw konig and the others, your eyes lit up in excitement . you ran on the rocky  ground not caring if the rocks cut up your feet . you opened your arms and you ran and jumped on Konig , wrapping you legs and arms around  him in a tight embrace . Koning quickly wrapped his arms around you and he rubbed your back .
'' i did it ...''
You said quietly as you buried your face in the crook of his neck .
You pulled away from Konig and you hugged  ghost . ghost tensed up by these actions and he wrapped an arm around you giving you a hug . you hugged soap as well and the others and you gave them a smile .
'' they said they would hurt you ...i didn't let that happen .''
You said while looking towards the burning building with a smug look .
'' we took care of that and laswell sent a team already to clean up this mess .''
Gaz spoke up from behind .
'' price is back at base waiting for us so how about we get back home yeh ?.''
Ghost spoke while picking you up . you didn't protest but in fact melted  into his touch .
'' yeah .''
You spoke , being happy that they were safe .
'' lets get ya home you little arsonist .''
Ghost chuckled .
'' L.t well be heading back to our base now .''
The sergeant t said .
'' Roger that , good work boys .''
Ghost said sternly and saluted them off and they did the same action as well and headed to their humvee .
'' We also have something waiting for you at base as well . ''
Soap said with a little grin .
'' what is it .''
You asked curiously .
'' you'll see .''
Konig said happily .
Ghost went near a compartment near the humvee and  wrapped you in a blanket . He handed you too konig and konig sat in the front in his original spot with you and Ghost went to step into the driver's seat but soap stopped him .
'' your not fuckin driving get your ass back there .''
Soap is still shaken up from Ghost's lovely speed driving .
Ghost grunted and he sat in the back with gaz and Alejandro sat in the back as well next to Ghost .
'' good to see you amigo .''
Ghost spoke slowly .
'' nice  to see you caught the hang of spanish .''
Alejandro chuckled .
'' alright we're heading out .''
Soap said as he started the engine and you soon were heading off .

TIme skip—

You had fallen asleep in konigs arms and he held onto you tightly . He wanted to give you the world . He wanted you to have a normal life like other kids would but he was a soldier and he thought about giving that up for you . you arrived at base and it was dark and cold . The humvee stopped and soon everyone was out of the vehicle in a matter of minutes . you were back at base finally and sleeping . Konig looked down at you and he booped your nose causing you to sneeze and wake up .
'' huh..''
You said while rubbing your eyes a bit .
'' sorry kleiner ..were home now .''
He said while carrying you inside .
He  walked inside while carrying you and he made his way back to the rec room and the others left out  price  to handle . Ghost and the others went to their rooms real quick and it was just you and Konig . Konig set you down gently and he handed you your sleeping clothes . you didn't give a shit at the moment and you started to strip right there and Konig almost died right then and there .
'' NEIN NEIN go there .''
He pointed frantically to the bathroom and you stopped at the hem of your nightgown and you grabbed the clothes and went to the bathroom. You went into the bathroom and you stripped from your bloody gown and tossed it aside and you slipped in clean under wear and put on your shorts and oversized shirt that Ghost had given you . you didn't smell surprised so you just decided you wash up tomorrow . you got ready and done and you sighed in relief finally being away from the horrid place . you opened the door to the bathroom and you noticed the whole group in regular clothes and no gear on and you saw Konig hold a paper . you walked out of the bathroom slowly and looked at them with a confused look and you looked at Konig .
'' what is this ?.''
You said looking at the paper and it read your name on it .
'' i'm your legal guardian now , i convinced laswell to let me adopt you and i snuck out and got the papers and signed them the first night i heard you had no parents .''
Konig said softly and in a happy way .
'' WAIT ...so like what does that mean ?.''
You said excited but confused .
'' he's your dad lass .''
Soap chuckled .
'' wait really !.''
You said excitedly .
'' yes really .''
Konig said
You ran up to your now new father and gave him a hug .
He wrapped his arms around you and he gave you a hug as well .
'' and these idiots are ya uncles including me .''
Ghost said with a light chuckle .
'' WOAH I HAVE A FAMILY OH HECK .''
You said excitedly and pulled away from Konig and you made little happy stomps .
You were finally home , happy and you had family . something you never thought about or knew this would even happen . you yawned while trying to hold your smile and soap chuckled .
'' i think we should head to bed , blaze is tire and i know you boys are too .''
Ghost spoke .
'' we head out to laswell in the morning .''
Price spoke .
'' Yeah . lights out everyone we have another day .''
Price said walking back to his room and the others did the same and said goodnight as well.
'' want to head to bed ?.''
Konig asked .
'' yeah .''
You said with a smile while walking with him to your now shared room .
You stepped onto your mattress that was on the floor and you slipped under the covers . Konig turned off the light and slipped into bed as well and he got comfortable .
'' good night dad .''
You said happily and snuggled into your comforters closing your eyes .
He melted from your words and smiled to himself . He was finally a father and he was happy to be able to yours .
'' good night y/n .''
He said softly and you both headed into a sleep .
Years of pain and sorrow were finally gone , you could finally be happy and you could finally be free and be yourself and now what was even greater you had a family , a very protective and loving one but little did you know that there lied one more enemy waiting to strike .
