Estelle soon found out that "her" family wasn't any regular family. The doctors diagnosed her with memory loss, so her father hired the best tutors for her. "What should I know about my family?" This was the first thing she asked her tutor. "Your family is royalty, miss. Your dad rules the empire." So that explains it, Estelle thought. She always wondered why her family lived such a luxurious life. The maids, butlers, guards, cooks, and gardeners were all a luxury she had not experienced in her past life. But another question still lingered in her mind. "Who is my mother?" Estelle asked. She had been here for almost a week now, but she had yet to see her mother. The tutor flinched, then cleared his throat. "Sorry miss, but that is not something I can tell you." "Why not?" Asked Estelle. That response had just made her all the more curious. After the lesson, she started running to her father's office before her nanny stopped her. The nanny her father had picked out for her was a maid that had been working at the palace for over 10 years. She was a plump, old woman, maybe around her 50s, Estell guessed when she saw her. And another thing- she absolutely adored Estelle. In fact, everyone seemed to love her. She heard the maids whispering about "how the lady had a change of heart." Even her father would seem a little surprised and dumbfounded when she would apologize to one of the maids or greet the cook on her way out. What was the past Estelle like, was she really that horrible?
