26. MEETING THE PARENTS

Wrestle mania ended when my dad cleared his throat and we all froze looking in his direction.  He was surrounded by our family all laughing "ok you kids enough playing around.  It is time for your training now move."  Our siblings took off running out the door while yelling bye to everyone.  It was funny how quickly they disappeared after hearing my dad tell them it was time for training.  Tristan walked up to me and helped me.  He pulled me in close nuzzling my neck.  I giggled "sorry Tris I should have warned you that my siblings like to tackle me when I return home."  "It's ok Dew Drop."  

My dad clears his throat yet again pointing at Tristan and Brenda.  "I know you two have passed the potion test and Alpha Xavier has questioned you both..."  Xavy steps forward "actually I haven't questioned Beta Tristan.  Before you get mad Tio, Katrina there threatened to castrate me if I did.  Since we told him you would give him a test he has to pass he has not renounced his pack or title."  I cleared my throat "actually Zavy right before we left he did renounce his title.  He has not renounced his pack because he doesn't want people to think he is a rouge instead of just between packs."  

My dad stared at him "why would you renounce your title.?"  He smiled "because I never wanted to be Beta.  Hell, I never really wanted a title.  I was only made Beta because my dad insisted on it.  That is why my brother had two Betas plus I know I will pass.  All I want is Katrina."  My dad nodded "well then follow me."  I tried to stop them until my dad growled at me "you seem to forget Future Alpha Katrina unlike your friends here I am not afraid of you."  I gulped and stepped away from my dad and looked at my mom.  "Nope sorry baby girl I am with your father on this one.  I can't handle you being hurt again."  Glaring at my parents "then I am going to be in the room."  "No, you are not.  I do not need you interfering.  NOW GO TO YOUR ROOM AND STAY THERE TILL I CALL YOU."  I glared at my dad and stalked off to my room.  I could not believe he actually used his Alpha command on me.

TRISTAN'S POV

I watched as my Dew Drop stalked off.  I could have sworn I saw steam coming out of her ears.  "Follow me, Tristan.  Brenda, you will be next."  I watched as she nodded before following Alpha Eralio led me to his office.  I knew from stories I had heard that Alpha Eralio was tuff and did not take crap from anyone.  That the only person really not afraid of him was his mate.  I worked hard to stay calm I had to remind Rudy that this was our mate's father and that he was only trying to protect her.  He did not like being separated from her in a house full of unmated males he did not know.  I didn't realize that Alpha Eralio was talking to me since I was reminding Rudy that the unmated males here all knew Katrina/Ashley and they were scared she would kick their butts.  I shook my head "sorry Alpha Eralio.  My wolf Rudy is not happy you Alpha ordered Future Alpha Katrina and separated us in a house full of unmated wolves.  I was reminding him that you are her father and that the unmated wolves here were afraid of her."

He chuckled "I understand.  As for the wolves in my pack too true they are all scared of her."  "Ok. I am ready."  "So, if you two are mated what are your duties going to be?"  Smiling I looked him square in the eyes "to have my Alpha's back and make sure the pack has everything they will need like a good Luna."  "If she needs to go on a long trip and has to leave you behind.  How would you feel?"  I swallow "I would be disappointed and worried about her but if I am needed here then I have to stay.  I am her Luna after all.  I understand that not all meetings require both Alpha and Luna."  

"So, you would have no problem with her being surrounded by a bunch of male Alphas?"  "I would not like it nor would Rudy but she is the Alpha and I am her Luna."  "What do you plan on doing about William?"  "Well, I would like to hunt him down and tear him to pieces since he is after my mate."  "So, that is your plan to hunt him down and kill him?"  "I would like to but I know I am not the Alpha or Future Alpha.  I would have to listen to your plans and go from there."  "You seem antsy why?"  "From what I have learned about Future Alpha Katrina I know she is strong-willed and very independent.  I would not doubt she already has started formulating her own plan.  I am worried that she is going to use herself as bait."

He nods "seems like you know my daughter well.  I believe that she is thinking the same thing.  I doubt the main reason she didn't want us speaking alone is that she is worried that I would tell you or that the two of us would realize what she is up to together.  Now how are we going to stop her."  "I say we use a decoy.  Dress someone that fits her description in her clothes and get a witch to change their sent and wait.  I highly doubt he knows my mate well enough to not fall for the decoy.  Especially since she told me that they only spent a few days together and the whole time he was trying to convince her not to go to Alpha training.  I am so glad my Dew Drop is way too smart to be used."

He nodded "Ok you passed.  To be honest this was just me being an Alpha.  William was too full of himself and I was not happy he was her mate.  I was relieved that he wasn't then angered that he was trying to use my daughter to gain more power.  This is the one time I am grateful she is so damn stubborn.  You are dismissed.  Will you please send Brenda in and do not give her a heads-up as to what is going on?  Also, stay away from Katrina I will let her know my decision."  I nod my head before exiting.  I walk up to Brenda and let out a sigh of relief "that was brutal your next."  I watch her gulp and head into Alpha Eralio's office. 

BRENDA'S POV

Watching Tristan letting out his breath had me worried.  Tom told me just to be honest and that is exactly what I plan on doing.  Ana warned me that Alpha Eralio is upset with the fact that William and Maggie tried to use Trina and Tom for power.  Don't get me started on what she told me how he was when that Johnathan prick went out of his way to hurt her for some stupid pack slut.  I knock on the door once I reached the Alpha office waiting to be invited in.  "Come in Brenda."   I took a deep breath and walked in standing in front of his desk.  "Please sit down."  Nodding I took the seat he pointed to and waited for his first question.   "So, how do you feel about Katrina and Tom's relationship?"  I look at him "honestly at first I was jealous."  "What do you mean?"  "I guess Future Beta Tom and Future Alpha Katrina have not told you how we met?"  He nodded "proceed."  

"I had decided to go for a run and was a little agitated that I could not go to my favorite spot to unwind from the events of the day."  "What happened?"  "There were two she-wolves fighting over who was going to try to bed the visiting Future Alpha.  I tried to remind them that Alpha Mortimer had warned us to stay away from the future commanders of the pack because the Future Alpha and Future Beta had been through a lot and more than likely one of the commanding line might put them in the pack hospital.  They told me to mind my own business and started to make fun of the fact I was mateless and a virgin.  So, I took off."  "Ok, good to know you were trying to protect the future commanding line of the Lone Star Pack."

"Well, since I could not go to the lake because we were told the Future Alpha needed some time alone and only her Future commanding line was allowed around her when she was relaxing I decided to run close enough to smell the lake so I could relax."  "Ok."  "I stopped and started inhaling deeply and that is when I was hit with the most intoxicating scent causing my wolf to wine mate.  I asked her what is wrong and she told me that our mate was with another she-wolf.  I ran towards the scent and saw Future Beta Tom and Future Alpha Katrina.  He had wrapped his arms around her and kissed the crown of her head.  I couldn't hear what he said but Layla took over and charged at them tackling Future Alpha Katrina to the ground only to have her pin me."

He chuckled "that's my girl.  Now continue."  "Well, she told Future Beta Tom to turn around and scolded him for growling at her.   She told him to turn around and reminded him that I would be naked when I shifted to human form and that there were other males present.  It was then I noticed the rest of the Future commanding line.  He gave her his shirt and turned around.  I shifted and she handed me his shirt.  I was confused as to why she would let me wear her boyfriend's shit and even asked her why she let me wear her boyfriend's shirt."   "Let me guess she explained everything."  "Yes, and it was then Layla was embarrassed.  She mentioned no wonder."  "What did she mean?"  

"I didn't know what she meant until later after Future Alpha Katrina had her vision quest with our Goddess."  "So, I take it you are fine with Katrina and Tom."  "Yes."  "Ok, dismissed."  I shook my head "wait what?"  "This was just me being an Alpha."  I walked out dazed and yelled, "TRISTAN YOU TRICKED ME."  I looked at him and he...
