31. TRUTH

Sorry guys for the long wait.  I his a major case of writer's block and could not seem to get the flow started.  I finally decided to delete what I had written and completely changed the beginning of the chapter and it worked.  Not to mention during the last two weeks of May I didn't even look at this story because between my youngest finishing up 8th grade and my oldest graduating I was very busy.  Hopefully, I will get more chapters up soon.  So you all could see what I had written I included it at the end of this chapter just like this message.

Waking up the next morning and cuddled into Tristan's side was wonderful.  I didn't want to move but knew that I had to confront William and his cohorts.  Especially since this didn't feel as if it was over.  Unfortunately my mom knocked on the door to let me know breakfast was going to be ready soon.  Tristan chuckled "I guess that is our cue to hit the showers."  He lifted me up carrying me to the bathroom so we could take a shower together.  I had to remind him no round two could happen since they were expecting us downstairs.  I have to admit it was hard to just shower especially with Tristan insisting on soaping up my body.

It didn't take us long to make our way down to the breakfast table just to hear everyone giving Tom a hard time since he was now fully mated.  Not to mention hearing all of them betting on how many shades of red I would turn since now I was fully mated as well.  Tristan chuckled as I groaned "I take it you are going to be given just as hard a time."  I nodded my head and smiled up at him.  "Yep, we all gave each one a hard time once they were fully mated."   He shook his head "Well let the games begin."

As we walked in the entire room turned and looked at us grinning of course Willie was the first to speak up.  "So, Triny how does it feel to finally be a fully mated she-wolf."  I grinned at him "Well, let's see I feel a bit more powerful.  Do you want to find out how powerful?"  He paled "No thank you."  "That is what I thought.  If one more person tries to make fun of our mating they will be meeting me in the ring."  

As usual, we all spent our time talking about what was going on today while eating breakfast.  The look on Tristan's face, when he was told he was going to be going with my mother to start learning his job, was funny.  "Sorry babe interrogating a prisoner is the job of the commanding line, not their mates."  "I don't like knowing that you are going to be down in the dungeons alone with the wolf that tried to steal you from me."  "I understand but this is my job.  Plus now that we are marked and mated there is nothing he can do."

Tristan just nodded and followed my mom to what will eventually become his office.  Brenda had already followed Tom's mom to her office.  I looked around and all the mates were gone and I soon led my commanding line down to the dungeon.  Taking a deep breath I unlocked the door to hear a bunch of arguing going on.  I walk into view, and in front of all the cells, I look at Tom and raise my eyebrow at him.  The ones in individual cells are turned wolves.  I nodded "So, who wants to talk first?  Know this we will get the truth no matter what."

William growled and tried to give an Alpha command to the prisoners not to speak but it was all in vain.  He didn't realize that the Alpha King had already removed his Alpha title which stripped him of his Alpha power.  He glared at me "If you had just listened to me and let me be Alpha you slut this would not have happened."  I smiled at him "All you are proving is that you never should have been Alpha."  

One of the wolves in a single cell raised his hand "I will go first."  I nodded to Willie who let out the first prisoner and we escorted him to the interrogation room.  All the while Wiliam was yelling that if he talked he would become rouge and would be killed on sight.  I cackled and turned around facing William "You can belive what you want."  Closing the door behind me I made sure the cameras and mics were on before starting my interrogation.

"Say your name, age, and why you were turned."  The guy gulped "Will I become rogue?"  "Depends on what you tell us here."  He nods "My name is Javier Saenz,  I am 25 years old and I was turned because I wanted to follow my sister who found her mate in a wolf pack.  I wasn't supposed to know but one day I followed her and saw everything.  Unfortunately, the pack my sister became a part of wouldn't allow me to join since I didn't have a mate." 

I nodded "What did William promise you if you helped him besides turning you."  "That once he was king I would be reunited with my sister.  I just needed to make sure that he was reunited with his true mate a Female that was supposed to be Future Alpha and the Future Queen.  He told us that you rejected him since you didn't know he was an Alpha.  You wanted an Alpha to grow your pack and become the biggest and strongest pack in the world."  

Shaking my head "Actually we never were mates..."  "I know.  William didn't realize that we could hear him mumbling to the born wolves about how everything went wrong.  How he paid a fortune to cast a spell making you and your Beta think that he and his sister were mates.  While he was out since a man he called Your Majesty came in and injected him with something."  I looked at Tom and he shrugged his shoulders "I don't know why his Majesty would do that."

We hear a throat being cleared "I put wolfsbane in his and the other two pack members in their system to knock them out once he outed himself to his cohorts.  I realized by their reactions he lied to them.  I wanted them to be able to speak freely and decide what to do."  I looked at Javier "What pack is your sister a part of?"  He looked at me "The Moonbeam pack."  I shook my head "What is your sister's name?"  "Antonia Saenz."  

His Majesty punched the wall roaring causing all of us to jump and kneel in submission.   Well all except myself.  Looking up at him "What is wrong Zacharia?"  "Antonia is one of the humans that William dated since he couldn't get a she-wolf pregnant since he lost his goddess-chosen mate.  He knew he needed to find a mate in order to become Alpha.  This was before he heard about you.  He knew you would not believe he was your first Goddess-given mate if he was looking for his second chance mate."

I nodded "Ok."  "He told five different human women that they were his mate and that he would change them.  After changing them he tried to get them pregnant and when that didn't work he moved on to the next one.  Right now she is with Alpha Xavier, but will be in your pack since you will be the leader.  She is the only turned she-wolf that will be staying here.  The rest are going for rehabilitation at the palace since they blame you for William losing his Alpha title.  She was the only one that understood that he did this to himself."

I nodded and saw the pleading in his eyes and chuckled "Yes, you can stay and be with your sister but you will have to be on yard duty for a year to make up for trying to kidnap the Future Alpha of the Lone Star Pack."   He smiled really big "Yes, anything to be with my sister."

We spoke to two other turned wolves and they both said they had nothing left in the human world and wanted to try their luck in the supernatural world.  They also said they didn't want to stay in my pack because they didn't want to risk anyone accepting them for trying to kidnap their Future Alpha.  

Waking up the next day I wanted to confront the imposters and would-be kidnappers. Tristan was unhappy about me going down and facing William but knew he could do nothing to stop me. Dad insisted that I eat breakfast first so my first stop was in the dining hall. Walking in I notice the gang sitting around the ranking member's table. "Hey guys, I plan on confronting William and the supposed kidnappers." They all laughed "Did William really think we were not that well trained?" "I think so, mainly because he really believes that a woman is not fit to be Alpha."
