33. WILLIAM'S REALIZATION

We all watched him try and reach out to his pack and found they were not there.  He could not even reach out to his former Beta who was in the next room.  "How?  Why?"  I shook my head "Have you not realized who I am?"  "No, some punk that thinks he can control me."  Katrina snorted and stepped up "Let me present to you His Majesty King Zachariah Zamora."

William's face paled as he looked around the room.  Everyone was chuckling as it finally hit him how much trouble he was in.  It didn't take long before he smirked: "Well good luck trying to kill me."  Tom stepped forward "If you think the Former Beta and his son will help you escape they have been transported to the Royal Palace to serve life in prison for treason.  Since they will be executed along with you."  I looked at my guards "Oops make that six executions."  

Katrina cleared her throat "What about the spy in the van?"  "OH, him his Alpha put him on clean-up duty for five years.  Turns out he was from another pack and was promised that he and his family would be taken care of for life."  I watched Katrina nod "ok, so where are the executions happening?"  Smiling "Oh, in your sparing area."

"OK, full name, wolf's name, former rank, spill everything from causing her Goddess-chosen mate to reject her to invading her pack."  He looked around the room smirked and closed his mouth.  If he thought he was going to get away with being silent he was in for a world of hurt.  I soon repeated the command but using all my Royal power.  I watched as both human and wolf tried to fight my command and failed.  We all sat back as he spilled the beans from the beginning.

WILLIAM'S POV

I tried my best to fight his Majesties command but there was no fighting him.  Every wolf has to bow down to him.  The only one that can avoid his command is the Goddess herself.  Yet I rejected her long ago.  Looking around at everyone once we bowed to his command was infuriating.  Taking a deep breath I started my story from when I met Genevive.

I was visiting my cousin from my mother's side Johnathan Langly.  He introduced me to Genevive and soon the three of us were good friends.  I didn't know that she was dating Johnathan when I started seeing her.  Hell, it wasn't until Johnathan found his Goddess-chosen mate Future Alpha Katrina did I know what was really going on.

It was then I found out that Genevive and Jonathan had cooked up this plan to mate an Alpha wolf or She-wolf and then kill her or him bringing in their chosen mate.  See I had also planned something similar with Genevive years ago.  That was until I realized she was a pack slut chasing after Future Beta Tom.  Yes, I knew long before it was made known that the Future Alpha of The Lone Star Pack was Future Alpha Katrina, not Future Beta Thomas.

How I knew this was my father constantly complained about how Alpha Eralio would not heed his advice and make Future Alpha Katrina's mate the Alpha.  It was confirmed when Johnathan called crying about how Genevive had him believe that Tom was the Alpha and that Katrina was just a pack slut that wouldn't let him near her.  It was then I put my plan into action.

I knew that Genevive had hired a witch to cast a spell on Katrina to make her stay away from Future Beta Thomas and one on him to make him believe she was his Goddess-given mate.  I paid the witch extra to cast a spell on Katrina making her believe I was her mate.  She was also paid to make Future Beta Thomas believe my sister was his mate.

I Alpha commanded my sister to give up her Goddess-chosen mate then promised her that she would become Luna of one of the packs I gained from becoming Apha.  I tried everything in my power to convince Future Alpha Katrina not to go to Alpha training.  I told her that I had already gone and she didn't need to since I could teach her myself.  I did not expect her to know that if she didn't go she could never be Alpha.  I didn't know that she already knew she would have to settle for Luna with out the training.

Not to mention she was not willing to just be a Luna.  So, after they left to training I really believed that since she was not my Goddess-given mate me having sex with other she-wolves would not affect her.  I truly believed that she had to be marked to feel my indiscretions.  It wasn't until she took the potion severing our bond was it explained to me that once we accepted the mate bond, we would feel the others' betrayal.

I looked around and took a deep breath.  I wasn't willing to give up, so I convinced my sister to flirt with her mate.  See, I had a spell cast on my sister to have her believe one of my warriors was her mate and vice versa.  So, even though she rejected him, the warrior she met at the Royal Palace was her true Goddess-given mate. 

I don't know if she ever realized that he was her true first mate.  I do know that she had intended to reject him since I promised her a pack.  It wasn't until I started rounding up my followers that I realized she was smarter than I anticipated and realized I never intended to give her a pack.  That I had intended for her just to be a she-wolf in my pack.  I wanted the largest and strongest pack.

I convinced several humans that wanted to become part of our world to help me and pledge their loyalty to me, and I would turn them and let them choose their mates no matter what.  Again, I never had the intention of fulfilling my promises.  Not even to my former beta.  I had promised him a pack after Future Alpha Katrina made me her King.  It was while I was rounding up my followers that I realized she was the she-wolf of the profecy.

I took a deep breath, convincing the former Beta, and his heir was easy since they resented the fact that they would not be given the title of Alpha.  They truly believed that when the former Alpha died, they would be next in line to be Alpha.  They didn't realize that this pack had to be run by a blood relative due to the laws of the pack.

I had my followers drink a potion to disquize them as myself to have you all chasing the wrong William while I made sure my Beta headed to Future Alpha Katrina's room to collect her while I tried to lock everyone in the dungeon while we made our escape.  Little did I know that one of the girls that my Beta went after was a decoy, and he was captured.

I was so wrapped up in my revenge I didn't notice the Luna come up behind me while I tried to lock everyone in the dungeon or pay attention to my look out that there was someone behind me.  I soon found myself at the bottom of the dungeon steps from the Luna kicking me.

I watched as his Majesty nodded and told me I was to be executed immediately since I could not be trusted to be transported anywhere anymore.  He let me know of everyone who was being executed along with me.  My wolf was growling inside my head because we had lost our chance at being King since I did not heed his advice that we found our way into the pack house too easily.

It wasn't long before I was escorted out to the training field and saw my Beta and the rest of my cohorts tied with silver to steaks in the ground.  I knew that this was the end.  While they were tying me up to the steak, it hit me that I was to blame.  My wolf and I begged the Moon Goddess for forgiveness since went against her plan.  As I felt the needle with wolfsbane and silver enter my skin I saw the Goddess.  "I forgive you my child but for the next fifty years you have to prove that you and your wolf deserve to be reincarnated."
