What happened..? Where... am I..?

Hina opens her yellow and pink heterochromic eyes, trying to figure out where she is.

Everything's... a blur. Was I kidnapped..?

The scene around her wheels as she turns her head, her messy black hair moving a little into her line of sight.

I can't tell where I am...

Her head throbs.

My head... It hurts. Was I drugged..?

She raises a pale hand to place it against her head, but hears a clanking sound like a metal chain as she stops short, no longer wanting to squish the pain down.

Chains..?

Her gaze is brought into sharper focus by the pain and the sudden realization that she's chained in place.

I can't move. I see pipes on the ceiling, windows in the far back.

She tilts her head back as far as she can.

No window behind me. I can't tell what time it is. How long have I been gone? Does Momo know I'm missing?

"I see you're awake." A voice says from in front of Hina. The clear sound of footsteps on concrete makes its way toward her as she whips her head to face the front again. "Good. We can get started now."

The top of the face is mostly in shadow, but Hina makes out two bright blue eyes paired with a chesire cat smile.

"Who are you?" She asks, hating that her voice trembled in fear. "Where am I?"

"Who I am is not important. Neither is where you are. What you should be asking is, "What are you going to do to me?"" The man crouches down, now nearly close enough for her to reach out a hand and touch him. She could see, now, that he had golden-brown hair. "That, and, "Why can't I use my Quirk?""

She shivers, suddenly realizing how cold it is. She risks taking her eyes off the man to glance down, looking at her wrists, her ankles, and finally, when she doesn't find anything, reaching a shaking hand up to her neck. Bingo.

"A Quirk suppressor...?" Her eyes widen as she shivers again. How did this man get ahold of one? And why is he wearing a white... lab coat... in a dirty place like this...?

The man grins. He'd been studying her as she realized she was wearing a Quirk suppressor. "Yup. Pretty good, don't you think? I mean, I can't have you using your Quirk on me again, can I?" He shows Hina his arm, which was bright red and bubbly. "You gave me a second degree burn as I tried to get you here. It's a good thing there's running water here, huh?"

"Yeah..." Hina mumbles. "I suppose it is..." Her eyes, however, held fear instead of relief.

"Well," the stranger claps his hands, rubbing them together. "I suppose it's time we get started, isn't it? The question is, where do I start?" He grins again, watching the fear flash on her face. "Oh, don't worry. I'm not doing this to see you in pain. I simply want to see if something will work. They shut down my research on this, you know. Giving humans extra powers by fusing mechanical parts to them. So you'll be my first test subject. If everything goes well, you'll end up thanking me for what I'm doing now."

"Thank you..?" She shakes her head. "I don't think I'll ever thank you for kidnapping and forcing your experiments onto me."

The man shrugs. "I suppose we'll see, won't we? Only time will tell. Now, to get your body used to it, I think I'll start," He pauses, then reaches toward the chains on her wrists, fusing them to the floor. He grins. "with your eye." He leans onto his knees, reaching for Hina's face and covering it with one hand as he stretches out his other to grab for her right eye...
