"I really don't like that Bakugou kid! He's loud, crude, and violent. What if he hurts you?" An 11-year-old Momo and Hina are arguing as they walk to school.
Hina sighs exasperatedly. "Momo, I'll be fine. I can protect myself. I've been hanging out with him for about a year, now, and he's never tried to hurt me. Besides, it'd be weird if I just suddenly stopped hanging out with him. And I'll see him either way, since Mitsuki-san is the one who designs my clothes."
"Not necessarily." Momo disagrees. "You could ask to meet somewhere else when you pick up the clothes so you don't have to see him."
"Momo, I enjoy talking to him. Yes, he's loud. Yes, he curses a lot. But I really think I'm helping him chill out a bit. Mitsuki-san says that he's cooled down a bit in the year that I've known him, and that's good. And he hasn't been making me act loud and curse, right?" Hina argues.
"I know, but I still think he'll hurt you. Even if it was an accident, with his Quirk, an accident could be fatal!"
The twins reach their school, girls in uniforms all heading inside.
"I'm going to my class, now. I'm not talking about this with you anymore. I'm not going to stop hanging out with Bakugou-kun, and you won't change my mind on this." Hina says this firmly, a scowl on her face as she walks into the building. She pulls her hair back into a ponytail, and it still reaches the middle of her back.
Why can't Momo see Bakugou-kun the way I do? He has anger issues he needs to work on, yes, but he's not a bad guy. Right?? I mean, he wants to be a hero. Why would you want to save people if you were a bad person? You wouldn't! Arrrggghhhh! This is so frustrating! And she knows that I've been hanging out with him for a year, so what suddenly brought this on, anyway? It just doesn't make sense! Nothing for a year, then suddenly she says that she wants me to stop hanging out with him? Did something happen? I don't know.
Hina harumphs, crossing her arms on her way to her locker.
Well, she can't just tell me to stop hanging out with my friend. I love her, but she's not Mom. Mom has no problem with me hanging out with Bakugou-kun, so Momo shouldn't, either.

"Alright, girls, you're dismissed. Don't forget to read chapter 4 in your history textbook tonight!" Hina's teacher, Chinami-Sensei, calls out as everyone starts packing up.
It's the end of the day, and Hina's anxious to get home. She's not walking with Momo this time because she doesn't want their fight to start up again. She just wants to get home, go to her room, and start on her homework without any more fighting.
Hina walks out the school quickly after packing her backpack and slinging it over her shoulder. She huffs and sighs to herself as she starts her journey home, crossing her arms across her chest, gripping her shoulder strap, and crossing her arms again, repeating the patter a few times.
"MMPH--!" Hina's eyes widen as someone pulls her back, shoving a damp washcloth over her nose and mouth.
That's not gonna work on me! She thinks furiously, elbowing the person in the gut. She whirls around and slides her backpack off her shoulder as the guy rushes at her again, this time with a bottle of liquid. Chloroform? Can't withstand that much! Make sure he stays back!
Hina stumbles back a few steps, her heart pounding fiercely in her ears as her assailant charges faster than she expected. He reaches for her, grasping her jacket by his fingertips. Hina tries to force the jacket out of his grasp, only to slip and fall as the jacket stays firmly in her attackers fingers.
