"A test... of our Quirks?!"

"Well, looks like I was wrong. We are having a test on our first day." Kimi mutters with a sigh.

"I told you." Momo mutters back, looking smug.

"Actually, I was right. It was a serious test that we didn't expect." Hina whispers, a smile on her face.

"No time to waste on that stuff if you want to become heroes." Eraserhead tilts his head back a bit, looking up at the sky. Class had continued on while the sisters were mutting to each other. "U.A. is known for its 'freestyle' educational system. That applies to us teachers as well."

Hina nods. That makes sense. If the educational system is 'freestyle,' then why wouldn't the teachers be allowed to utilize that to help us become better heroes?

She looks around, but sees that most of the class is confused.

What are they confused about-?

"Softball throwing. The standing long jump. The 50-meter dash. Endurance running. Grip strength. Side-to-side stepping. Upper-body training. Seated toe touch. You did all these in middle school, yes? Your standard no-Quirks-allowed gym tests."

Hina and Momo nod, looking over at each other. They hadn't done the best, but they'd done well enough doing the tests in middle school.

"This country still insists on prohibiting Quirks when calculating the averages of those records. It's not rational. Bakugou. How far could you throw in middle school?"

"Sixty-seven meters." Katsuki says with a small grin.

Hina smiles, putting the tips of her fingers together as her own form of silent clapping.

Kimi chuckles under her breath, shaking her head at Hina.

"Great. Now try it with your Quirk." Eraserhead tosses the softball to Katsuki, gesturing for him to step inside the white-outlined circle. "Do whatever you need to. Just don't leave the circle. Give it all you've got."

"Awesome." Katsuki mutters, stretching his arms and getting ready to throw the ball.

"Uh-oh. I should probably cover my ears, then..." Hina mutters, covering her ears with her hands.

I'll add a bit of BOOM to this pitch!! Katsuki thinks with a grin, yelling, "DIE!!" as his throws the ball with a lot of force from his loud explosion.

"Die?" Hina hears the amused and confused mutters of her classmates as she uncovers her ears.

"It's important for us to know our limits. That's the first rational step to figuring out what kind of heroes you'll be." Eraserhead holds up the measuring device and it says '705.2 m'.

"WHOA!! This is AWESOME!"

"705 meters? Seriously?"

"So we can use our Quirks for real!! Man, the hero course is great!!"

Everyone starts talking at once, excitement and astonishment the main emotions thrumming through the class.

Wait, but what am I going to do? I mean, I guess this is a chance to take creative liberty and figure out how to use my Quirk in different situations, but what do I do?? Concern is on Hina's face as she furrows her eyebrows.

"Don't worry, I'll help figure out how you can use your Quirk for these." Kimi whispers to Hina, leaning closer to her.

"...Awesome... you say?"

Uh-oh. A chill is sent down Hina's spine as soon as she hears Eraserhead's voice. This isn't going to be good...

"You're hoping to become heroes after three years here... And you think it'll all be fun and games?" He puts his hand in front of his face. "Right. The one with the lowest score across all eight events will be judged hopeless... and will be expelled."
