Chapter 14

"Villains?! No way!!"

"What villains'd be dumb enough to sneak into a school for heroes?"

"Sensei, aren't there intruder sensors?" Momo asks, on the defensive.

"Yes, of course there are...!" Thirteen responds, shocked.

"Are they only here, or also at the main building...? Either way, if those sensors aren't working... it has to be one of their Quirks that's doing it." Shoto concludes, looking down at the villains below them. "This place is far from the campus. And they picked a time when there'd be few people here... So maybe they're not as dumb as they seem. They must have an objective. Because this is a well-coordinated sneak attack."

"Thirteen! Begin evacuation! And try calling the school! One of these villains must be jamming the sensors. There's a good chance one of their electric-types is causing the interference. Kaminari, Hina. Try using your Quirks to signal for help." Aizawa issues instructions as he surveys the scene, ready to jump in.

"Got it!" Kaminari shouts as Hina yells.

"But sensei, you can't fight them all alone!! Against that many... Even you can't nullify all their Quirks!!" She worries, her eyebrows furrowing as she steps away from Kimi and toward Aizawa. "As Eraser Head, your fighting style involves erasuer and a quick binding capture. Head-on battle isn't...!"

"No good hero is a one-trick pony." Aizawa looks back at his students and Thirteen. "Thirteen! Take care of them." He leaps down the stairs, seizing his scarf and using his Quirk, his glasses over his eyes.

Please be okay, Aizawa-sensei...! Hina runs to the top of the staircase, watching with worried eyes as Aizawa fights and takes down one villain after another.

"Hina! Come help me get a signal out!"

"Coming!" Hina yells, running over to Kaminari. "Pass me some of your electricity. I can only pick up what's in the air, and it's not much."

"What? But I can't control where it goes! It could hurt you or our classmates!" His eyes widen.

"Mm... Alright, take my hand."

"What?"

"Oh for goodness--" Hina grabs Kaminari's hand impatiently. "Alright, now use your Quirk. You go dumb if you use it a lot because since it's in the air, it messes with your brain, right?"

"Yeah?"

"Alright, then if you use your Quirk now, I'll pick it up immediately so it won't make you go dumb."

"Oh. Good thinking!" Kaminari nods, using his Quirk to generate electricity for Hina to pick up.

"Hina! Kaminari! Hurry up and evacuate!!" Ida shouts, ushering the class toward the exit.

"I won't allow that." A purple mist looms over them, blocking their way to the exit.

"!!"

A villain..!

"Greetings. We are the League of Villains. Forgive our audacity, but... today, we've come here to U.A. High School--this bastion of heroism--to end the life of All Might, the Symbol of Peace." The mist man explained, still blocking their path.

All Might? They're gonna kill him?!

"We were under the impression that All Might would be here today... but... it seems his schedule was revised? Well... no matter. My role remains unchanged." He says, surrounding a majority of the students as Thirteen opens a finger on his hero suit to use his Quirk.

"Katsuki!" Hina yells, her eyes wide as he and Kirishima rush at the mist villain, Quirks at the ready.

"Not if we end you first. Betcha didn't see that coming!!" Kirishima holds his arm out in front of him, ready to attack the villain again.
