"We have everything ready, right?" Hina whispers to Kimi, who goes through the checklist in her head.
"Eggs, vegetables, and fruit, check. Bread, butter, cinnamon, milk, vanilla extract, syrup, and powdered sugar, check. Cinnamon rolls, check. Coffee and sweetner, check. Gifts wrapped, cards with gifts, check. Flowers, check. Tray, check. Yep! Looks like we have everything." Kimi gives Hina a thumbs up.
"Alright. I'll start on the cinnamon rolls," Momo whispers. "Dad, can you prepare the coffee maker and coffee the way mom likes?"
Daiki nods, moving to the coffee maker and setting it up silently.
"Kimi and I will start on the eggs and french toast as soon as you put cinnamon rolls in, Momo," Hina says quietly. "In the meantime, I'll make sure the presents and cards look nice."
"Alright," Momo nods, already working on the cinnamon rolls.

Daiki knocks lightly on his and his wife's shared room, opening the door gently and walking in with the girls.
Kanaho sits up, turning the lamp beside the bed on and shielding her eyes a bit. She smiles as she sees her husband and daughters, each holding something for her.
"Happy Mother's Day, Mom!" Her daughters chorus, walking over to her bed and setting the food, drink, presents, and flowers down.
"Thank you, all. I'm so blessed to have you as my family!" Kanaho hugsher daughters, then gives her husband a kiss before seh takes a bite of her food.
"Here, Mom. Open mine!" Momo hands her mother her gift, looking all pretty.
"Alright, alright." Kanaho laughs lightly, opening the giftbag and pulling out... another bag. "Is this the newest Kyoto Nishijin bag I was eyeing last week?" Her eyes widen, looking at the salmon-colored bag with blue, green, and purple flowers outlined in gold on it. "It's beautiful! Thank you so much, Momo!"
Momo smiles, hugging her mom. "Of course, Mom. I love you, so only the best for you."
"Mine next!" Kimi hands Kanaho her gift, wrapped nicely, though the inside package is flimsy.
Kanaho opens the gift from Kimi, holding up a dark blue haori with salmon-colored swirls and koi fish on it. "Oh, it's so pretty! This'll look great on me at the festival next weekend!"
"That was the idea." Kimi smiles, hugging her mom.
Hina smiles and hands her mom her gift, placed in a small bag.
Kanaho opens the bag, pulling out a navy blue handkerchief with gold waves and orange koi fish outlined in gold and a purple hair clip with flowers, a mini fan, and small bells on it.
"It's nothing too fancy. Just hand-made. I hope you like it, though." Hina smiles a little, looking down.
"Oh, baby. They're beautiful! Thank you." Kanaho hugs her daughter tightly, patting her head. "Thank you all, girls. Your gifts are amazing. I love them!"
"Happy Mother's Day, Mom," her daughters say, hugging their mom.
"Happy Mother's Day, love," Daiki says quietly, kissing his wife and handing her his gift.
Kanaho opens it with a smile, pulling out a quadruple-framed picture. The first is a picture of them on their wedding day, the second is a picture of Hina as a baby, the third, a picture of Momo as a baby, and the last a picture of Hina and Kimi standing together happily the day Kimi was built.
"Oh, Daiki. Thank you." Kanaho smiles, tears in her eyes as she strokes the frames. "I love it."
"I'm glad, my dear. Happy Mother's Day," he says with a kiss, holding his wife tenderly.
