"Are you ready, Hero?" Icy asked from where he was standing with Hero at the DJ booth.

"Of course!" Hero replied, looking into the camera that was recording them.

The music had died down for a bit for them to introduce the dancers. Their voices carried through the whole club over the loudspeakers.

The club was large, with a massive elevated circular stage in the middle. Different colored lights beamed down onto the stage. Different dance groups crowded around the stage, waiting in anticipation for the dancers to walk out of their respective areas. On an elevated section in the back, the manager of the club, also known as Great King, sat and watched the activities below. There was a betting station directly underneath his area, and business was booming with dancers placing bets on the competitors.

Icy raised a hand to his left ear, where a small black device was situated and he furrowed his brows before he glanced up at the boss and nodded slightly.

Icc turned back to the camera, "I just got word that the dancers are ready, so, if everyone will turn their attention to the right side of the room..." Ice had a mischievous smirk on his face as he looked over the railings of the elevated DJ booth, "Let's welcome Relentless to the stage!!"

Immediately, the doors on the right side of the club flew open and the music began to play as the team of six dancers were introduced one by one.

The roar of the cheers in the club was deafening, but it only got louder once Relentless had finished their introductions and Hero announced the arrival of their opponents.

"And, now, let's give it up for Manic!!" Hero shouted as the doors on the left side of the club burst open.

"It looks like we have the one and only Livewire coming out first!" Ice commented as Bokuto made his way towards the stage, his hands thrown out wide while the club cheered.

"And then the heartthrob, Fireball!" Hero said with a chuckled as Kuroo strolled out, the noise of the club being drowned in the squeals of fangirls as he made his way to the stage.

"Next up is the power couple, Frenzy and Delirium!!" Icy shouted when Komori exited the doorway with his arm hooked around Akagi's waist.

"Then, it's Manic's wonderful leader, Hysteria!!" Hero announced while Yaku made his way up to the stage, waving at the crowd.

"And last, but most definitely not least, we have the blonde beauty, Wildcard!!!" Hero cheered.

Atsumu made his way to the stage as the deafening roar of the crowd around him sent shivers up his spine. He missed this. Atsumu laughed as he stepped up onto stage and turned to give a flourishing bow to the crowd, only causing the cheers to grow louder.

Icy laughed and let out a low whistle, "Would you look at that, Hero... They all match, tattoos and all," he commented.

Hero hummed, "Leave it to Manic to have matching tattoos," he added, amused.

Atsumu grinned, dipping his head down to showcase the dark lettering at the base of his neck. Clean, black letters against skin, the word Manic was tattooed on each of them in a large jagged font.

Icy chuckled into the mic, "Alright, folks, it's time to start this dance battle!!!" He announced, and the cheers grew deafening once again.

The song Let's Get It Started by The Black Eyed Peas began to play and Manic started the battle strong.

Atsumu and Yaku took a step back to allow Bokuto, Kuroo, Akagi and Komori the space they needed because they would be doing the first dance.

(First group:
Black hat = Akagi
Red beanie = Kuroo
Hoodie = Bokuto
Two-tone hair = Komori)

In true Manic fashion, the club was going crazy while they performed.
The choreography was dynamic and high-energy with each movement being executed perfectly and on beat.

The crowd went wild when Komori started break-dancing, jumping into a spin and hitting the splits like it was nothing.

They cheered so loudly when Bokuto started twerking that Atsumu swore that he'd be deaf by the time the competition was over.

The roar of fangirls was absolutely over powering when Kuroo moved to the front to dance, and, when Akagi finished off the dance with a showcase of his insane footwork, Atsumu swore the walls would start shaking.

Yaku smirked proudly as he watched his crew perform their choreography without so much as breaking a sweat.

They weren't even five minutes in and Manic had already stolen the show. Yaku grinned - this would be another easy win for Manic.

Relentless' follow-up dance was impressive, but it was nowhere near the level of Manic's opening dance.

Manic was a crew of friends that were as inseparable as they were chaotic, and they had a dynamic like no other that flowed into the way they danced. The chemistry between Manic's dancers were one of their greatest weapons, and, with each person specializing in slightly different techniques and styles of dance, they could create dance routines like no other.

Yaku was proud to be the leader of such an amazing team of dancers, and he was even happier to be part of such a tight-knit friend group.

When Relentless had finished their dance, Icy and Hero came back over the loudspeaker.

"Damn," Hero exclaimed, "We're off to a strong start from both teams today," he pointed out.

Icy nodded, "Oh, yeah, but I wonder what the votes will say," he replied mischievously.

Suddenly, a massive screen above the betting station turned on and a poll was shown.

"Get your phones out and start voting people!" Hero directed.

With in seconds, the poll started gaining votes, and it was clear, with the seventy-four percent of votes, that Manic won the first round.

"It looks like round one goes to Manic!!" Icy announced before he laughed at the roar of the crowd.

"Let's get on to round two, shall we?" Hero suggested, the grin clear as day in his voice.

Hero turned to the DJ, who was tall and skinny with straight brown hair and pale skin. He had black-out glasses on that had a cartoonistic bored expression on the lenses in white.

"Round two, Mimi," Hero directed and the DJ, Mimi, nodded.

His fingers flew across the keyboard of his laptop to queue the next song before he lazily stuck his tongue out and made a peace sign with his left hand. Meanwhile, his right hand drifted to the mixer to fade out the song and change to the next one.
