The Manic crew were still at their hideout. It had been about half an hour since Atsumu and Komori gotten there, and Atsumu was sitting in the aerial hoop on his phone - he'd changed back into his previous outfit, including the jacket, and was now just chilling on the hoop while editing a photo to post on Instagram. Akagi sat on the floor in between Komori's legs with his back against Komori's chest where they sat against one of the support pillars next to the mats. Meanwhile, Yaku was still looking through his playlist to find a song to dance to, and Kuroo and Bokuto were playing cards at the coffee table.
"I've got it!" Yaku exclaimed suddenly.
Atsumu jolted and his balance on the hoop wavered, "W-woah!" He vocalised as he slipped off the hoop and fell backwards onto the padded mats, landing flat on his back, "Ow..."
"Tsumu!" Akagi shouted as he pushed off of the floor and ran over with Komori not far behind him, "Are you okay??"
Akagi and Komori crouched down on both sides of Atsumu as the blonde sat up slowly, "Yeah... Yakkun jus' scared me..." Atsumu replied.
"Risuke!" Komori snapped, turning to Yaku angrily.
"Sorry!" Yaku yelped, "But I just thought of the perfect choreography for two of the songs!"
Atsumu was already standing up and making his way over when he asked, "What are we going to start with?"
Akagi and Komori had appeared next to them along with Kuroo and Bokuto, all looking curious.
Yaku grinned, "I was thinking that we could start with choreographing a dounle group dance with all six of us to Unholy by Sam Smith and Kim Petras, and then a solo dance from Tsumu to Be Honest by Jorja Smith and Burna Boy today for Tsumu's return to the dancing scene," he announced excitedly, "We can do some more songs over the course of the week."
Bokuto grinned, "Sounds fun!" He exclaimed, and they all nodded in agreement, "So, when do we start practicing?"
Yaku smirked, "Right now."
With that, they all gathered in the studio area in front of the mirrors and the camera.
"Alright! Kuroo, I want you up front and center," Yaku directed and positioned Kuroo where he wanted him to be.
Yaku took a few steps to Kuroo's right and a bit behind him, and pointed at the floor, "Aka-chan, I want you right here."
Akagi nodded and moved into place as Yaku moved over to Kuroo's left and a step back, "Tsumu, this is your spot."
"Got it," Atsumu said as he went to go stand in his spot.
Yaku moved behind Kuroo and Akagi to a point where he could be seen in between them in the mirrors, "Bokkun," he called, "Here's your spot!"
Bokuto smiled and nodded, moving into his spot without question.
Yaku then moved to Bokuto's right behind Akagi and a bit to his right as well, "Here you go, Komori."
"Alright," Komori murmured and stepped into place.
Yaku moved to his spot - slightly in front of Bokuto, to his left behind and between Kuroo and Atsumu - and nodded to himself, "Okay, these will be our positions for the first half of the group dance to Unholy," he informed, and everyone nodded.
With that, Yaku started going through the choreography with them. They picked up the steps pretty quickly, and - being the amazing dancers they were - were able to execute them perfectly within an hour.
After they went through the whole dance about five or six times, they all collapsed onto the couches around the coffee table to eat some snacks.
"No way! Tsum-Tsum, you brought muffins??" Bokuto exclaimed as he spotted the container on the table.
Atsumu laughed, "Ya only noticed now, Bokkun??"
"Mhm!" Bokuto hummed, his mouth stuffed with chocolate muffins, "I got distracted by cheering for you on the aerial hoop," he explained after he swallowed.
Akagi and Komori snickered while Yaku and Atsumu just giggled, and Kuroo was occupied with his phone.
They were all piled onto one couch, squished together like sardines. Akagi was sitting sideways across Komori's lap at the right end of the couch with his back leaning against the arm of the couch.
Yaku sat next to Komori – he was actually laying upside down with his back on the seat and his legs thrown over the back of the couch.
Yaku rested his head on Atsumu's lap who sat tucked into Bokuto's side with the older boy's arm over his shoulders.
Kuroo was sitting on the left end of the couch, also tucked into Bokuto's side with the latter's arm around his waist.
Kuroo suddenly sat forward, causing Bokuto to frown slightly.
"Holy shit, guys!" Kuroo exclaimed, "Look at this!!"
He shoved the phone Atsumu's way and Atsumu, slightly startled, fumbled with it as he took it from Kuroo.
Instagram was open on Kuroo's phone, and Atsumu could see the post onscreen was the video of him on the aerial hoop. His eyes widened as he realized that it had gotten a good couple of thousand likes.
"Look at the top comment, Tsumu," Kuroo directed.
Atsumu did and he nearly choked, a red blush spreading across his cheeks.
Saku_Kiyo10 @Funtime_Foxy07 You're really something, you know that?
Atsumu bit the inside of his cheek and scowled, ignoring the way his cheeks burned at the sight of the comment.
Atsumu rolled his eyes and passed the phone back, "I never have any idea what the hell is goin' through that idiot's head," he whined, "Sometimes he's an asshole an' other times he pulls shit like this!" He exclaimed with a groan of frustration.
"Who? Kiyo?" Komori asked, looking up from his phone.
Yaku hummed, he was looking at Kuroo's post on his own phone, "Mhm," he confirmed.
Akagi whistled, "Hasn't it been like that between you two since high school?"
Atsumu sighed and nodded, "Yeah... He's always sent me mixed signals... I can't tell if he actually hates me or if he's jus'...a weirdo..." He said quietly.
Komori snorted, "Let me tell you," he began, "Kiyo is an idiot, and he's absolutely terrible with feelings," he laughed, "Besides, I'm pretty sure he's been trying to figure out how he feels about you since high school."
Atsumu furrowed his eyebrows, "What's that s'posed to mean?" He questioned.
Komori and Akagi shared a knowing glance before Komori shook his head lightly, "It's nothing," he deflected, "Kiyo is just... He can be a bit unpredictable at times, and trust me, I grew up with him."
Atsumu nodded and sighed, looking back down at his own phone, "Damn, it's almost ten o'clock already," he pointed out.
"Time really flies, huh?" Yaku commented as he snapped a selfie from where he was lying on Atsumu's lap, catching part of Atsumu's well-toned abdominals in the shot.
"Honestly, though," Atsumu replied, exasperated.
Komori snorted, "We've been friends for what, five years, now... Time really does fly," he commented.
Akagi smiled, "I still remember nationals in first year," he said.
Bokuto laughed, "I remember really loving hitting Tsum-Tsum's sets," he admitted, "Those were absolute perfection."
Yaku chuckled, "Yeah, I remember receiving those monstrous serves," he giggled, and Atsumu smiled at him before he offered him a hand.
Yaku smiled in return and they intertwined their fingers, "But gods, damn, did you look good in those volleyball shorts, Tsumu," Yaku added with a snicker.
Atsumu blushed bright red and the rest of the friend group burst out laughing.
