"What makes you ask that?" Sakusa asked slowly, sitting up to pay attention easier.

Osamu chuckled, "Ya say ya know me, Kiyo, but I know ya jus' as well," he assured before he exhaled deeply, "Well, I won't lie... I've been suspectin' it for a while. I saw how ya looked at him back in high school, an' how ya face turned into that of someone whose pet bird jus' shit in their coffee whenever he went out with Bokuto or Kuroo... I guess right now when ya told him to go upstairs, it kinda jus' confirmed it for me..."

Sakusa gulped and chuckled weakly before he sighed, "I..." He hesitated, "I won't lie to you, Samu... I am."

Osamu huffed a humorless laugh, "Knew it. How long?"

Sakusa scratched the back of his neck, "I don't know... Since training camp, when I first saw him, I think."

Osamu let out a low whistle, "Four years, an' yer still pinin'?"

Sakusa laughed but he nodded his head, and when he realized that Osamu was still staring at the ceiling, he answered, "Yeah, pretty much."

Osamu hummed, "Jeez, yer whipped," he said before he giggled like a drunken idiot.

Sakusa snorted and shrugged, "You could say that," he agreed.

Osamu rubbed a hand over his face before he spoke, "I'm gonna be honest with ya, Kiyo. I don't really like the idea of ya datin' my brother," Sakusa was about to say something but Osamu held up his hand, "Hold up, I'm not done," Sakusa pursed his lips and stayed quiet, "I don't like the idea of my brother datin' anyone, but I know that I can't keep him from bein' happy. So, if ya wanna ask him out, do it. There's no other guy in this world I'd trust with my brother rather than ya," he paused, paying no attention to how Sakusa's jaw dropped and his eyes widened, "Except maybe Bokuto or Kuroo, but Kuroo's more like a brother to us an' he an' Bokkun have this friends with benefits thing goin' on so yeah. That bein' said, I'd rather it be ya than some creep who'd break his heart."

Sakusa was speechless, and his mind was whirling with questions but the one he wanted to know about mostly was, "Wait, Bokuto and Kuroo are a thing??" He asked incredulously.

Osamu blinked and looked over at Sakusa with a deadpan expression, "That's seriously what ya got outta all that??" He asked.

Sakusa shook his head, "No. Sorry... I-" He took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts, "You really think I'm the best option for your brother?"

Osamu nodded, "Yeah. Besides, Tsumu's already like atleast half in love with ya too."

Sakusa decided not to further that statement, simply because he did not want to explain his and Atsumu's make out session to Atsumu's twin brother – not to mention that they'd lied about where they were that night – so instead, he changed the subject.

"Thanks... I really appreciate that," he replied.

Osamu nodded, "I better be yer best man at the weddin' though," he teased.

Sakusa blushed bright red, "Says you. I better be your best man when you finally put a ring on Suna."

Osamu snorted, "Touché," he replied, face flushed.

Sakusa sighed, "I should probably go check on Atsumu," he said as he stood up from the couch and began his way towards the stairs, "See you later."

Osamu nodded, "Go take a shower first, ya stink," he pointed out, "Ya can borrow some of my clothes. An' remember what I said," he called, "I wanna be yer best man!"

Sakusa sent a middle finger over his shoulder in Osamu's direction right before he made it up to the second floor.

After Sakusa had showered and dressed in a pair of light grey sweatpants and a black hoodie that he'd had in his backpack, he walked down the passage to Atsumu's room and knocked lightly on the door.

"I don't wanna talk to ya, Samu!" Atsumu called from inside.

Sakusa chuckled lightly and slowly turned the door handle. The door opened to reveal Atsumu lying on his bed, in the black hoodie that Sakusa instantly recognized as his and black shorts, with his back turned to the door.

Atsumu was tapping away at his phone, seemingly ignoring Sakusa as he entered – he probably thought he was Osamu.

Sakusa quietly closed the door and sat down on the edge of the bed next to Atsumu.

"How are you feeling, Atsu?" He asked as he laid a gentle hand on Atsumu's hip and rubbed calming circles with his thumb.

Atsumu immediately turned over at the sound of his voice, and Sakusa removed his hand from his hip. Atsumu's face was flushed with a pretty pink.

"I'm okay... I think," he answered, "Jus' a but tired."

Sakusa smiled, "We were up all night, so I think it's understandable," he reasoned with a shrug.

Atsumu blushed heavily, "Don't say it like that," he mumbled, "Ya make it sound like we were doin' somethin' else..."

Sakusa's cheeks heated up at the implications, but he only laughed, "No, but maybe another day," he teased, "After we figure out what this is," he finished, gesturing between them.

Atsumu giggled, "Alright," he agreed easily and Sakusa's jaw fell.

Sakusa was at a loss for words, but he quickly got ahold of himself and reached out to run a hand through Atsumu's soft blonde hair, freshly showered and towel-dried, smelling like apple-scented shampoo.

There was a moment of calm quiet between them, and Sakusa took the moment to establish something important, "Just so you know," he started, "Now that whatever is between us is going on, I'm not going to let any opportunities to compliment you slip away," he stated softly.

Atsumu blushed but before he could reply, Sakusa pressed, "And right now, I'd like to say that you are absolutely beautiful..."

Atsumu's eyes widened and his eyes locked onto Sakusa's. Obsidian green eyes stared back at him, almost like Sakusa was entranced. Meanwhile, Sakusa's hand drifted from Atsumu's hair to his cheek, where he stroked it gently with his thumb.

Before they knew it, Sakusa had leaned down and connected their lips in a sweet kiss. Atsumu's lips were sweet, and it was like Sakusa couldn't get enough of them. He'd waited so long for this.
