It's almost the end of January and here in England and It didn't snow, meaning that for Christmas we couldn't enjoy the white roads of our city.

I came from a country where due to the global heating it didn't snow and I thought that with me moving in England I could finally enjoy the snow.

I am in bed, getting ready to sleep  when my boyfriend barged in with a big smile on his face "Come to the window" he said making his way to the window like a little excited kid. "What is it Percy?" I groaned, not wanting to leave the warm of my bed, but when I finally did I was greeted with a wonderful view, snow was covering the trees, making them seem like they were from a movie, the roads full of snow unbothered by cars ..

My eyes lit up, I didn't see snow in a long time, "Come on what are we waiting, lets go" I said encouraging him to dress up to go outside.

Holding his hand I ran down the stairs of our apartament complex "Why are you running" he asked laughing at my actions "I am just really excited to be honest". With that I opened the door. Cold air hitting my face, making my nose and cheeks a pink color.

The snow was fresh, meaning that in these past hours, mother nature let the white coat to fall. I ran on the snow, letting the snowflakes cover my hair and face, Percy wasn't moving, he was staying in the doorway watching me. "Come on don't be a wuss" I yelled at him as I twirled under the millions of snowflakes.

He came behind be wrapping his hands around my waist pressing a kiss on the crown of my head. Turning me around, I found myself placing my hands on his shoulders as we swinged slowly in the snow fall.

My face was covered with a big smile as well as his was. We were enjoying each others presence, not bothered by the climate or my the though of someone watching us, all it mattered was us. He sometimes swirled me around making me yell in surprize "Percy" he just laughed at my exclamations.

It didn't care that we were at the point of freezing, we enjoyed the first snow of the year together like little kids and it was all I could ask for.
