"Why aren't he coming to lecture anymore?" Dooshik asked out of sudden. I flinched and looked at him who been watching my phone.

"how can I know that? He doesn't even mention about it" Dooshik cross his arm "also, he was the one who make me paid for 620,602 KRW huh"

"well... It's wasn't like he mean to. He was drunk and forget to paid for his drinks"

He looked at me, scoffed "maybe this is the reason why your mother not allowing you to take over your father company"

"what do you mean by that?" my eyebrows frowned.

"he literally sound like he been shitting around" he said with his infamous neutral face expression.

"no way. You don't know him, Dooshik. You can asked anyone and they will told you that he is a kind hearted man"

"kind hearted is the type of person that we can't ever believe"

"that's you. I don't like judging people based on their one actions or looks" I said and lean back. I lay down on the bed, my legs left daggling. Dooshik stay beside me and we remain in comfortable silence.

"why did you become professor? You don't look like someone who enjoys teaching and communicating"

"if become doctor, I won't have time to help my dad with his company. At least with professor job, I can work two jobs"

"why two?"

"....if I can't be doctor, I at least want to help providing enough knowledge for future doctors" he said and I chuckled

"big dream huh?"

"yeah big but I did it" he replied.

"then, how am I in class?" I asked, feeling curious

"you are good. I can see that you study before classes but you need the least distraction from your friend and your crush"

"Hey!" he doesn't replied to that. "why did you take medical degree? Did you want to be a doctor?"

"well....you can say that. My parents will be older and they will get easily sick so it'd become my dreams since I was a kid"

"....." he looked at me for a minute and turn away. "keep working hard. You will make it" he said and stand up "let's check on them" he said and leave first. I get on my two foot and went to the kitchen as well.

My parents are already waiting for us. They smiled at the sight of us approaching and gesture us to sat down. I sat down and he did too. Dooshik thanked them for the meals and we have dinner together.

Mom glanced at me and Dooshik before smiling to herself. I can see her getting so happy at the sight.

"I always dream about this day. A day where I will eat with my son-in-law"

Dad laughed "oh oh, I don't know that you dream about this. For me, I really don't think we will actually able to meet our son-in-law since baby"

"yeah that's true. What a great twist of fates" mom said and clear her throat. "actually... I know this is too early but...." dad glanced at her as well

"did you two already do 'it'?" she asked emphasising on the last word. I coughed, almost choked on my food at the question.

She giggled at my shy reaction and looked at Dooshik who look rather calm next to me.

"not yet. We don't have the right time yet" he answered looking at me. I gulped and divert my attention elsewhere.

Mom looked at Dad "honey, don't you think that our house room are actually soundproof? I think I used to asked every room to be soundproof right? I'm sure Yoomin room is because she used to blast entire house with music so we make her room soundproof" my entire  body are flushed. I really want to hide.
