XXVIII. Not Afraid

I looked over at Suha who been talking about her weird blind date. It's not like I am not interested in the topics but there's something more important in my head. I keep thinking about Dooshik which I know should be absurd but I couldn't helped it.

He just keep popping in my head.

"and then, how dare he think he all that great" Suha clicked her tongue, annoyed.

"I should have tell you about that before I went on the date because then you can save me from it" Suha cling on my left arm making me laughed but doesn't mention more.

I looked up from Suha to surrounded us and then I can see people eyes. Some of them looking on my way before whispering to others. My brows raised, questioning why.

Suha who was absorb in her story stopped too. She looked at the rest "what the hell are you doing?" she snapped, hands on her waist.

"I heard that you been sleeping around while dating Mincheol, is that right?" I stand up and looked at me with fierce gaze

"who said that? Is that Mincheol?" I asked but no one answered them. I am pretty sure he is the only sick minded guy who will spread things like those for his own benefit.

I rushed out the class and ran looking for Mincheol. I will teach him a lesson! I shouted in my head and ran to the field knowing he probably play football there.

And I am right.

He is there, talking with his friends. I come closer before grabbed his shoulder. I turned him around and slapped him right in the face. Suha who was running after me stopped a few feet away from me. We managed to get people attention because of it too.

"Prof. Kang" I heard someone mumbled. I glanced to my side and saw Dooshik standing a bit away from us but he was watching. He looked like he stopped walking when I slapped Mincheol.

"What the hell!" Mincheol shouted, earning my attention.

He pushed me but I managed to gain my balance so he failed. "You are lying!" I shouted back.

"what?! I am not! What lies are you talking about?!"

"you told people I cheated on you! But I didn't!"

Mincheol rolled his eyes "don't act innocent. It's so fucking annoying!" he lifted his hand and was about to slap me when Dooshik grabbed his hand.

"This is harassment, Mr. Jung" he said formally.

Mincheol looked at him before yanking his hand away.

"Asshole" Mincheol muttered under his breath before stepping closer to Dooshik. Their eyes meet and Mincheol smug smirk deepen.

"should I expose?" he muttered only for me and Dooshik to hear. My head tilt to the side, confused by what he said. However, Dooshik doesn't seem to be so confused. Instead, he seems annoyed.

"I gave you the money already" Dooshik grabbed his short collar. Mincheol grabbed the hand looking at me "but I want to see her suffer so badly"

Dooshik grab tighten "also, did you really believe that?" Mincheol added yanking Dooshik hand away. Dooshik gave him money? For what.....

I looked at him wanting explanation but he avoided my gaze.

Mincheol looked at his friends "let leave. This air is toxic" he said looking at us. They walked away and crowd also gone. Everyone went on their ways.

"What is he talking about?" I asked.

"nothing" Dooshik walked ahead but I walked beside him. "Dooshik, you can't keep this on your own. This involve me too right?" Dooshik grabbed my wrist and dragged me along with him.
