Waking up with toned arms tight around your waist made every morning seem worth waking up, or at least that's what I've learned since I had begun to wake up this way almost every day. Mason was always awake first laying there for however long it took me to wake, on the days he worked he risked being late just so that he could be there when my eyes fluttered open.

His influence had me waking up earlier since we usually went to bed early on the weeknights, I didn't want him to be tired when he worked of course.

This morning felt particularly good for no apparent reason other than I felt good. Somedays I woke up a bit gloomy but I've yet to have a bad depressive episode, I hoped I wouldn't ever again but that would be wishful thinking. But since it was rare I woke up in such a good mood I couldn't help but roll onto my side facing Mason with a cheeky grin on my face. I never smiled full-blown ever in the early mornings but today felt different.

Mason didn't have on his glasses, his raven hair a mess atop his head, curls matted and sticking out everywhere. The sun filtered through the curtains the way they did every morning lighting his face and making him squint a bit from the blinding brightness. It made his eyes electric. God was he pretty,  I thought as his lips tilted up at the sight of my happiness.

I grabbed his cheeks with both hands smooshing them between my palms then leaned in kissing all over his face, his nose crinkled, and a soft noise of surprise left his lips.

I had become a real lovey-dovey sicko nowadays, I grossed myself out sometimes but I couldn't help myself whenever I saw Mason. He was the best person I knew and I always wanted him to know that I needed to show him as often as I could. He enjoyed these weird gross acts of... Like. Of strong like. So I did things I knew would make him happy which in turn made me happy.

Of course, I enjoyed kissing his face like a madman so it wasn't like I was doing anything uncomfortable for myself. This just wasn't how I had pictured myself acting in the small chance I ever got a boyfriend so I liked denying the fact I took pleasure in being lovey-dovey just as much as Mason did.

I shifted beneath the comforter and threw my leg over his hips still holding his face between my hands, his nose was still crinkled and his smile grew larger than before as he laughed and blushed and looked adorable as he always did.

My frantic kisses become gradually slower, I kissed his forehead softly then down the bridge of his nose, the crinkles smoothing under the touch of my lips, then I kissed his mouth and he immediately responded. His hands found my hips and squeezed gently as his tongue pushed past my lips. He pushed his fingers under my baggy top feeling up my slim waist, past my ribs, and over my nipples. My shirt bunched up around his wrists. A shiver ran up my spine when he rolled the bud between his thumb and finger, and my body arched against his in need.

"Mason," I whispered against his mouth after feeling him harden beneath my weight. "Can we please do something... Anything, I need you baby."

He pulled away just barely with raised brows, "Ash..." His voice trailed off as he looked down between us.

I moved close and kissed his temple, "I know you're waiting for me to say a certain something before sex but... I'm not ready for that yet and I'm not sure when I will be, it could be a long time," My voice grew quieter as I settled back in his lap feeling my nerves sparking in my body. His hands trailed back down to my hips and I missed the brush of his fingers over my piercings. "It's okay if you don't want to do anything still, I understand but I just figured I'd offer it. I know we both are really fucking horny and we could do other things that didn't involve dick-in-ass sex. You know?"
