Asher hadn't slept at his house since our argument, every evening I came home to the sight of him taking a nap and while he slept I would start supper. Then of course as soon as the first trace of food after into the living room he was up and trudging into the kitchen slightly grumpy from his nap. Usually, he wore a frown but I knew that he wasn't coming for the food but rather a big hug from me since the smell of food noted my arrival then he would say how he had been waiting all day for that hug. The best part of my day.

It was the weekend now though so when my alarm went off I snoozed it and pulled Asher closer. He immediately responded with throwing his leg over mine and groaning. "Why do we always have to wake up on the weekends," He griped and I chuckled kissing his forehead and ignoring the sheen of sweat from his sleeping. I'd begun to realize that Asher ran hot at night, and always woke up with glimmers of sweat on him.

"It's good to keep a sleep schedule," I told him and he scoffed in response running his hand up and down my side, his thumb feeling up my bare stomach.

"Mmm you're so hot," He mumbled and my cheeks grew warm. I still couldn't take compliments. "I'm gonna take a shower," He announced opening his eyes and patting my stomach with a smile. A real genuine smile, the kind I hadn't the pleasure of seeing in a while as he hadn't been feeling the best lately. When he got up and stretched he continued to talk, "I'm feeling a lot better today. Like myself."

I pushed myself up resting back against my forearms and watched as his thin body moved as he lifted his arms stretching out his back. "Thats really great Ash," I smiled. It hurt my heart to see him so unhappy, especially knowing the kinds of thoughts he had when he felt that way. No person deserves to feel that way and it brightened up my day knowing it was a good day for him too. He seemed relieved by this too, everything about him seemed freeing and looser. "Do you want me to join?" I asked.

"No that's okay," He assured me. "I'll be quick!"

Once he had grabbed clean clothes I sat up and grabbed my phone scrolling through social media to pass my time. I wasn't quite the social media user but I did have Instagram and every once in a while scrolled through it. I followed Jake, Thomas, Cara, Alex, and Asher. As I scrolled I saw their pictures that had missed from my lack of looking on this app.

Jake had posted a picture of Thomas sitting in a cafe sipping on a cup of what I assumed to be coffee, Asher had told me it was his favorite. With the caption 'my love' which seemed very unlike Jake but I assumed he was much nicer to his boyfriend.

Cara posted a picture of her and Alex dancing in what looked like a nightclub, colored lights surrounding them and the next picture the same except they were kissing. She captioned it 'thank our talented photographer @charlielewis_xoxo' and I clicked on the account seeing all of his pictures.

Including one of him and Asher sitting close together on a couch with their heads falling backward as they laughed. I clicked on Willem's Instagram since the had commented on that post and stalked through it until I found his older pictures of when he and Asher first became friends.

There was a picture of younger Asher around eighteen, sitting on the bottom bunk of a dormroom bed. He was thinner than now with many hickies on his neck and a single tattoo of his favorite anime character. He looked so young and so exhausted, but he still beamed for the picture, and in the next was him flipping Willem off with a laugh I could almost hear from the picture. He's so adorable.
