Daya wasn't ready to say goodbye to Bosco for the day just yet. The girl had left just before the tattoo was done, and after Alyssa had finished up, Daya rushed out the tattoo parlor door. She sighed in relief when seeing Bosco wasn't too far yet.

"Bosco?" She called out for her, rushing to catch up to her.

Bosco froze, slowly turning around to look up at her. "Y-Yes...?" She whispered, slightly intimidated by Daya's height.

Daya wasn't exactly sure what she was doing. She just knew she wanted to spend a little more time with her. "Can I uh...take you to lunch or something? You can say no of course-" She quickly added that last part, not wanting Bosco to feel like she was being forced into anything.

Bosco was taken by surprise. She looked around as if Daya was talking to someone else before back up at her. "...Th-There's a diner here if you'd really want to do that..."

Daya smiled, feeling relieved that she didn't turn her down. "Lead the way?"

Bosco shifted nervously but nodded, turning around to lead the way to the diner. Daya followed, hoping she'd be able to find a way to get Bosco to relax. She felt bad seeing how nervous and shy she still was, and had already picked up on the girl's self soothing tendencies. Like fidgeting with her bag and fingers or bouncing her knee.

"I'm not used to being able to walk everywhere." Daya said, trying to start a conversation with her. "I grew up in a big city and got used to traveling to others."

Bosco glanced back at her. "...And you'd get chased by fans if you tried stepping outside alone. I've seen the videos."

Daya winced. She vividly remembered going out without her security and getting swarmed by people who didn't understand personal space. All she wanted was a snack from the store. She was thankful this town was small enough to avoid that. "That wasn't fun."

Bosco hummed in response, taking her past the coffee shop and record store to another older looking building. "Lived here my whole life." She said quietly. "Haven't left at all."

"Damn." Daya remarked, looking at the bright sign of the diner that read "Kory's." She opened the door for Bosco before she could get it herself, smiling when getting another blush out of her.

Bosco quietly thanked her, stepping inside of the diner with Daya behind her. "Kory?" She called out quietly.

A woman emerged from the back, eyeing Daya for a moment before her gaze softened when she laid her eyes on Bosco. "There's our Coco. You haven't been by in a bit. Willow said you've been a little busy."

"That's one way to put it." Bosco said, looking down at her hands as she walked to the booth she usually sat in. Only this time instead of one of her long time friends sitting across from her, it was Daya. The girl she had only ever dreamed of being next to.

Daya couldn't help but gaze at her. The loose strands of dark hair from her messy bun framed Bosco's face so perfectly. Daya wanted to reach out and tuck one of them behind her ear, just to be closer to her, but her urges were thankfully stopped when Kory spoke again.

"You want your usual drink, 'Sco?" She asked from behind the counter.

Bosco nodded a little, her eyes focused down on her hands. "Yes please." She said, just loud enough for Kory to hear.

Kory's gaze shifted to Daya. "What about you? Girl who looks awfully a lot like the girl on Coco's shirts?"

Bosco blushed once again, so much that she hid her face in her hands. Daya smiled, letting out a small laugh. "Just water will be fine, please."
