Daya immediately panicked. She laid her hands on Bosco's shoulders, shaking her gently but urgently. "Oh my God are you dead? I'm so so sorry, I didn't mean to scare-"

"Get away from her-" The barista who had been behind the counter said. She shoved Daya away from the currently unconscious girl despite being smaller than her, a water filled cup in her hand.

She poured it over Bosco's head, making the girl gasp and her eyes snap open. She took quick and shallow breaths, her hands shaking as she gripped the table.

"Calm down, Bosco. You're fine. Deep breaths." The other girl rubbed her shoulders to try to get her to relax, shaking her head as if this happened all the time. Daya just watched in embarrassment. She hadn't exactly meant to cause that.

Bosco finally calmed down somewhat, shaking water droplets out of her hair. "Thank you, Willow..." She whispered, slowly looking back up at Daya.

Daya took a deep breath, feeling incredibly dumb. "I should probably start over...shouldn't I?"

Bosco just stared at her, letting Willow wipe away the water still on her face. She didn't respond to Daya's question, tearing her eyes away and looking down at her hands. "...Are you just playing with me?"

Daya tilted her head in confusion. "What do you mean?" She asked.

Bosco pushed herself closer towards the wall, letting Willow go back to the front of the coffee shop and watch Daya closely. "...You're not Daya..." Bosco mumbled. "Get Dusted never comes here. We aren't listed on their tour stops. They're too good for this place anyways."

Daya knew she wasn't supposed to be telling anyone, let alone a fan, that they were on a short break in this town. Deja had specifically told them not to so they didn't draw any unwanted attention, especially since Daya's breakup hadn't gotten out to the public yet. But she still found herself sitting across from Bosco so she could explain.

"We stopped here for a bit between two cities." She said softly, now worried she might scare the other girl. "Had to unwind a bit. So...yeah. I'm Daya. May I know your name?" She had heard Willow say it, but she thought if Bosco introduced herself it might help her calm down.

Bosco nervously fidgeted with the sleeves of her sweater, still not meeting Daya's eyes. "B-Bosco..." She whispered. "It's Bosco."

Daya smiled a little. She felt drawn to the shy girl in a way, glancing down at the art she had been working on. "We saw your art of us in the window at that record store." She explained. "It's really good."

Bosco took a shaky breath to calm her growing nerves. "Thank you..." She squeaked out, slowly sitting up straight to pack her watercolors back into her bag. "I guess Angie told you I'm the one who made it."

Daya nodded, watching her put her stuff away and worrying that she would leave. "She did, yeah. It had me thinking..."

Bosco glanced up at her, pulling her pad of paper closer and flipping through the pages. "A-About what?"

Before Daya could respond, the door of the once quiet coffee shop was pushed open. "Daya are you already trying to find a new girl?" Crystal asked loudly.

Bosco froze up, slowly turning around to see Crystal and Lux walking over to them. Her eyes went wide, and she raised a hand to her head as she began to feel dizzy.

Daya immediately noticed, leaning over and laying a hand on her shoulder to keep her up. "Are you okay?-"

Bosco shivered under her touch, closing her eyes for a moment to stop the room from spinning. "I-I'm fine, just really lightheaded. I need to go lay down..."

Daya nodded, standing up so she could help her up and make sure she didn't fall. "A-Alright. Is there a way I can contact you? I'd still like to discuss some stuff with you."

Bosco opened her eyes, staring at her and trying to process if she was dreaming or not. Crystal and Lux looked between her and Daya in confusion, but Bosco managed to somewhat make herself think straight. "Y-Yeah..." She pulled a pen out of her art bag, her hand shaking as she scribbled her number onto a napkin and handed it to Daya. "Here..."

Daya smiled, placing it into her pocket as Bosco flipped through her different drawings again. She looked up at Daya shyly, laying the paper on the table and holding the pen up to her. "C-Can you sign that for me...?"

Daya looked down at the paper on the table, beaming when seeing a different drawing of her and her bandmates. "Of course." She said, signing her name and motioning for Crystal and Lux to come over.

Lux gasped when she saw the art, leaning over Daya's shoulder to get a better look. "You found the artist!"

"And you were flirting with her too, weren't you?" Crystal teased with a smile as she took the pen to sign the art as well, making both Daya and Bosco blush heavily.

"I was not-" Daya huffed, crossing her arms and looking back at Bosco. She caught her eye, and the smaller girl immediately looked away and fidgeted with the straps of her bag.

She picked up the pad of paper again once Lux had signed, feeling too nervous and overwhelmed to raise her head to look at them. "Th-Thank you..." She stuttered out, giving them a shaky wave before she rushed out the door of the coffee shop.

Daya watched her go, letting out a small sigh. "That could've gone better..." She mumbled to herself.

"She was adorable!" Crystal squealed, gripping Daya's arm. "Maybe you should try talking to her again. You need someone different who isn't anything like your ex."

"She was terrified of me-" Daya shook her head, sitting down at the table again with her head resting in her arms. "I made her pass out before you guys got here-"

"You three are really loud." Willow interrupted their conversation, watching them from where she sat on the counter. "Are you going to order or can I go take a nap in the back now?"

Lux and Crystal went to order coffee for themselves, but Daya just stared out the window. There was something about the shy artist that had immediately captivated her. And it was more than just the band needing a new merch designer.

Angie knocked quietly on Bosco's bedroom door. "Coco? Can I come in?"

"No." Bosco responded, her voice muffled by the pillow she was face down in. Angie just sighed, opening the door anyways and walking into her friend's room.

"Why are you so upset? You got to meet your favorite band today. I think that's pretty cool." She sat beside her on the bed, laying a comforting hand on her back.

Bosco sniffled. "I embarrassed myself in front of them." She whimpered. "Especially in front of Daya. She probably thinks I'm so fucking weird. I'm gonna be one of those people she'll talk about when interviewers ask about weird fan interactions."

"Oh I'm sure it wasn't that bad-" Angie said, trying her best to comfort her.

Bosco slowly turned her head to look at her. "I passed out, Angie. Willow had to pour water over me."

Angie cringed. "Oh...well-"

The sound of Bosco's phone going off thankfully saved her from having to convince her friend that the interaction wasn't embarrassing. Bosco turned over and wiped the tears from her eyes, unlocking her phone to check her notifications. She went stiff, staring at it before bursting into more tears and covering her face with her hands.

Angie raised a brow, taking the phone and reading the text herself.

Hey, it's Daya

Y'know it probably would've made more sense for me to write Irene being the one who pours water over Bosco but I already envisioned Willow so-
