Bosco didn't expect to wake up still firmly secured in Daya's arms, but when she blinked open her eyes, she found herself snuggled right on top of her with her head on her chest. Daya was still fast asleep, but her makeup was gone and she had changed. Bosco turned to the nightstand, finding a pile of used makeup wipes and two sets of lashes.
Bosco raised a hand to her face. Daya had wiped off her makeup for her. She looked down at what she was wearing, finding she was still in Daya's shirt that went down to her mid thigh. It made her feel small. But in a good way this time.
She couldn't help but gaze down at Daya. She wasn't at all what she expected her to be before she met her on a personal level. Daya always seemed so tough and a little guarded, but now Bosco was seeing her as the sweetheart she really was. And despite the chaos, she didn't want to give this up.
She snuggled back against Daya, smiling when her arms tightened around her waist and pulled her closer. She gave into the temptation to trace her finger over the detailed tattoos along one of Daya's biceps. A secret dream of hers was to design one for her one day. Maybe that was possible now.
She stopped when she got to the dagger tattoo. What Alyssa said replayed in her head, and she held her wrist with the rose tattoo up to it. They went together nicely. Bosco hoped her and Daya went together nicely.
She jumped a bit when Daya yawned. The other girl's eyes stayed closed as she held her tighter and turned over, making Bosco squeak when she snuggled her head against her chest. Bosco blushed heavily, but the sight was so sweet that she stayed in place and slowly ran a hand through Daya's messy hair.
Daya hummed in approval, leaning into the touch. "Bosco..." She mumbled quietly in her sleep, making the smaller girl's heart skip a beat.
She enjoyed the sweet moment while she could before there was loud knocking on the door. "Daya! Time to get up! I have your coffee!" Maddy's voice called out.
Daya yawned again, her eyes opening this time. She lit up when she saw Bosco, smiling and resting her forehead against hers. "Morning, princess. How are you feeling?"
Bosco's breath hitched as she looked into the girl's eyes. "B-Better..." She said softly, glancing at Daya's lips. "Thanks to you..."
Daya hummed in response, leaning forward until Maddy knocked on the door again. "Daya!"
The taller girl huffed but pulled herself up from the bed. "Coming Mom!"
Bosco frowned when she lost the warmth that Daya provided. But she sat up, pulling her knees up to her chest and snuggling farther into Daya's shirt. She couldn't promise she would be giving it back. She busied herself by checking her texts, having to respond to a very panicked Angie.
Daya opened the door, sighing in relief when seeing her assistant had brought coffee. "You're a life saver, Mads-" She said as she took the two cups.
"I didn't know what your girlfriend likes, so I just asked the barista to make whatever seems to cheer people up." Maddy shrugged. "Since she seemed sad yesterday."
Daya smiled and chose to ignore what she called her. "Thanks, that's very sweet." She glanced over at Bosco, finding her texting and fidgeting with the ring. "Do you think you can get her food that she could eat on the way to the venue?" Daya asked Maddy. "She didn't get to eat last night."
Maddy nodded, already looking up places nearby to go to. "I'll do that. Now you go get ready. You have soundcheck this afternoon, then a meet and greet, and then the show."
Daya loved her job, she just wished her schedule wasn't so hectic all the time. She promised Maddy she'd start getting ready before she retreated back into the room with Bosco. She walked back to the bed, handing the smaller girl her drink.
