After the concert, Bosco and Daya waited for Irene to be escorted to their hotel room. Bosco was anxiously pacing around it, clutching the ring as her heart pounded in her chest. Daya sighed as she watched her, standing up from her spot on the bed and wrapping an arm around her when she paced past her. "Baby?"

"She's gonna be mean and I don't wanna deal with it." Bosco sniffled, going limp against Daya's hold right when she felt it. "I-I just want her to be h-happy for me and not try to make me think that you're manipulating me and-"

"Wait, she's making you think what?" Daya held her up, laying her hand on her cheek and tilting her head up so she could meet her eyes.

Bosco's eyes were glossy as tears started to form in them. "Sh-She said you're all manipulating me so you can get what you want..." She whispered. "Doesn't think you love me..."

Daya's heart sank. "That isn't true..." She said softly, trying not to become enraged at Irene's allegations. "We'd never do that to you. I love you so much..."

Bosco just whimpered, looking down at the ring that was still clutched in her hands. Her lack of response made Daya nervous. "Y-You know that, right...?"

The smaller girl slowly leaned her head forward against Daya's chest. "M-Mhm..." She managed to get out. Words were too hard right now. She couldn't speak anymore even if she wanted to.

Daya sighed, pressing a gentle kiss to her forehead. "Let's get you cleaned up a little bit before your sister gets up here. Does that sound okay?"

Bosco nodded a little, sniffling and clinging onto Daya in fear that she might pull away from her touch. Irene's words were making her overthink, and now she feared that she might've made Daya mad by not verbally responding very well.

But Daya just picked her up by her waist and carried her into the bathroom. She sat her back down beside the sink, using a damp washcloth to gently dab at the tears on the smaller girl's face. Bosco avoided eye contact, afraid she might see some form of anger or resentment in Daya's gaze.

Daya took the hair tie that had been sitting on the counter and ran her hands gently through Bosco's dark hair. She gathered the locks into a messy bun, two strands framing her face much like they had when Daya first met her. It made her smile a little. "My beautiful girl." She praised.

Bosco blushed, but still remained silent. She wanted to respond. She wanted to tell Daya she was far from beautiful right now, but the words didn't form. Instead she just shyly looked up at her, relieved to find that there was nothing but pure adoration in her eyes. She reached a hand out, tracing a finger over her bottom lip.

Daya giggled a bit when she got the hint, taking Bosco's hand in hers and kissing the top of it before pressing another one to her lips. "Little princess."

Bosco managed a small smile, letting Daya pick her back up and carry her out into the room. Just when she set her down on the bed, there was knocking on the hotel room door.

Both girls stiffened up. Daya took a deep breath. "I'll go get it. You stay here." She said when noticing her girlfriend's anxiety levels growing again.

Bosco was unsure, but slowly nodded, reaching for the ring around her neck again. Daya pressed a quick kiss to her forehead before heading towards the door, taking deep breaths to try to help herself relax. It wasn't doing much.

She opened the door to find Maddy standing there with a girl she didn't recognize, but immediately knew it was Irene. Daya smiled and ignored how her heart was beating frantically in a panic. "Hey." She greeted Irene as casually as she could before looking at Maddy. "Thanks for bringing her up, Mads."
