CROUCHED LOW IN THE TREES AND FOREST WAS A GROUP OF NA'VI. They watched as the sky people used their demon technology to destroy the forest. A particular girl who was laying on a branch hissed under her breath. This specific activity didn't end well for them year's ago. They lost people. She lost her.

The arrow being shot through the air into an unsuspecting sky person is the warning she needed to focus. The girl quickly notches an arrow and aimed at the machine's wheels to slow it down. Even though her arrows impaled the tires it didn't stop. At the sight, she hissed and jumped from her spot, her tail angrily moving behind her, her ears slightly hidden in her locked hair pinned back as she let out a feral hiss.

She quickly kicked one of the sky people and released an arrow into his head. A few arrows later and the Na'vi group were running through the trees to safety. The girl dodged a bullet and pushed the people in front of her to move faster. She turned around and released her last arrow into the windshield to distract them so they could get away.

A man with a buzzcut in a wheelchair rolled down the ramp. He seemed out of place compared to the people who knew exactly where to go and what to do. As he was marveling at everything a tractor comes through. His eyes slightly widened when he spotted multiple arrows lodged into it. What caught his eye though was the purple, green, and white arrows. They stuck out the most and he could see did the most. Whoever these arrows belonged to must be a very bold person.

She held in a snarl as her mother shouted at her. "Nìnrra, how many times do I have to tell you? You are a lady! You need to put away your weapons and help me cook and clean." Her mother's voice was enraged and annoyed as she hissed and demanded. Nìnrra could hear her brother and sister snickering in the background making her quickly turn around and hiss at them. It seems that was the final straw because her mother, the ever dramatic Lenrra, held her head in her hands.

Nìnrra rolled her green eyes and walked away to find something else to do. Maybe what her mother is asking of her isn't entirely ridiculous but it's strange. Women in their clan are often warriors and hunters so she doesn't see the issue with herself being one. Her mother believes that as a daughter, she should marry to bring honor. But Nìnrra believes she can bring honor by going out into the forest and bring home a meal for the clan to feast on.

The girl sighed through her nose and sat near the Pa'li. She didn't even have to lift her head to know the small thunderous footsteps belonged to her little sister, Kinä. "Sister do not worry. I think you already bring honor. Especially with your beauty." Kinä giggled as she spoke the end of her sentence. Nìnrra softly smiled and wrapped her arm around Kinä's shoulder. Leave it to the seven year old to brighten up her day.

A few moons later and Nìnrra had forgotten about the  scorning she got from her mother and focused on the lingering pain in her scalp from Kinä's hairstyle. She often let's the child do her because Eywa knows otherwise it'd never get done. She spotted Neytiri and wanted to speak to her but got extremely nervous and ran into the forest instead. She hopes no one saw that.

Nìnrra was sat in the middle of the forest enjoying the peacefulness while sharpening her twin knives. She liked being surrounded by the animals and plants. It reminded her that anything could be beautiful. Nìnrra looked up from her knives with a sigh and decided she better leave before night falls. Plus she was quite far from home, she didn't want to hear her mother's scolding.

Getting up from the ground the girl stretched her limbs and put her knives in their sheaths on her thighs. With her bow and arrows in hand, she began to walk away when her ears twitch at the sounds of thundering footsteps and yelling. Her head quickly snaps to the side and she readies her bow.

She doesn't know what she was expecting but it wasn't a dreamwalker being chased by a Palulukan...headed straight for her. Her ears pinned back and her tail curled at the sight of the predator. The dreamwalker waved his hands and shouted in warning to the girl. It seems he wasn't fast enough because a second later they slammed on the ground and rolled on top of each other. This idiot man had ran into her.

They both groaned at the force and the man quickly climbed off of her and grabbed the delirious woman and dragged her through the forest. Nìnrra's head was killing her and she was sure her back had a bruise from how hard they hit the ground. But she quickly shook those thoughts away when she glanced back to see the Palulukan very close to them. The mystery man pushed her to the side before getting yanked into the air by his pack.

Nìnrra quickly got into a crouch and watched with wide eyes. This man...protected her? Why? She didn't have time to ponder on it and readied her bow. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath before releasing it. The arrow pierced the animal's skin and the Palulukan shrieked and let the man go to cradle it's wound. Once the man hits the ground, Nìnrra quickly runs to the man and frantically grabs his shirt before running off into the forest, their tails swishing anxiously behind them.

While the Palulukan is distracted, the man grabbed Nìnrra and threw them off a cliff despite her angry shouts. Once they broke through the surface Nìnrra climbed out of the water and coughed up some of the water in her lungs. She turned to her left and saw the man do the same. They locked eyes and gave each other a nod of gratitude. They heard the angry sound of the animal before the forest went quiet.
