thirsty for revenge
( na'vi italics )

THEY'D BEEN RIDING FOR DAYS NOW WITH LITTLE BREAKS AND NÌNRRA COULDN'T WAIT TO ARRIVE. IT SEEMS LIKE EYWA HEARD HER PRAYERS, the pa'li clan coming into view. Nìnrra yipped to alert those with her that they've arrived. She affectionately patted Hoan's neck and willed him to stop. "Thank you for your patience. You're such a good boy."

She disconnected her queue and skillfully jumped down. She grabbed her bow and pet Hoan one more time before walking forward with other Omaticaya flanking her. The Olangi clan watched them with weary eyes and guarded expressions. Nìnrra lifted her hand and greeted their Ole'eyktan. "I see you, Akwey te Ra'aka." Akwey returned her greeting and questioned them, "You are a ways from home, no? Tell me, what are you here for?"

"The sky people have destroyed our home. We plan revenge with Toruk Makto." At the mention of the mighty warrior, the Olangi clan gasped and muttered to each other."We seek help from other clans. We hope for the Olangi clan to assist us." Nìnrra asked with a strong voice and a head held high. Akwey seemed deep in thought. His thinking is cut short by a mighty roar. The na'vi look up with shocked looks as Toruk landed near.

Jake jumped down from Toruk and helped Neytiri down. He grabbed her hand and walked through the na'vi crowd that parted for them. Once he stood next to Nìnrra he smiled down at her. "I see you, Toruk Makto." Nìnrra greeted him and smiled at Neytiri. Jake held back a eye roll at her formal words and turned to Akwey. The Olangi leader stared at them for a minute before turning to his clan. "Toruk Makto!" He shouted and lifted his first in the air, his clan and the Omaticaya following.

Nìnrra has been traveling for a week, and now she could finally return home. Or the Omaticaya's temporary home. She owed Hoan lots of treats and pets for his long journey. Nìnrra smiled with proud eyes at all the different clans that filled up the grounds. She greeted those that recognized her with respect and accepted their gifts with surprise but gratefulness.

Nìnrra walked to her makeshift hut and gently placed down all her gifts and travel souvenirs. She sat on the floor with a relieved sigh and began letting her hair out of its braids and beads. She ran her fingers through her hair and massaged her scalp. Her hair had gotten significantly longer and reached just above her butt now. She kinda liked the length. Nìnrra grabbed one of the gifted clothing, a makeshift comb, and left her hut.

She followed the trail to a beautiful river and marveled at it's peacefulness before getting undressed. She neatly folded her old clothing and placed it on the ground. She hesitatingly placed her sheath with Eytukan's knife on top of her clothes and lowered herself into the water. She almost moaned at how good the cool water felt against her heated skin.

Nìnrra dipped her head under the water and used the makeshift comb to get rid of the tangles. She ran her fingers through her silky hair and smiled at the feeling. She felt so calm and carefree. Nìnrra's ears twitched at the sound of someone entering the water behind her. She barely acknowledged it, she knew who it was, and merely continued bathing.

Jake swam up behind her and smiled fondly at her. "You can't ignore me forever. I understand and don't blame your feelings but can we at least talk?" Jake questioned and placed a hand on her shoulder. Nìnrra sighed and watched the trees above them sway to the wind before she replied, "Jake, you've broken my trust and it takes time for that trust to rebuild." With that, she swam around him and walked out of the water.
