NÌNRRA LOOKED UP WHEN THE SOUND OF MACHINES FLEW OVER HER. SHE WATCHED THE DIRECTION THEY WENT IN AND FOLLOWED THEM WITH A HISS. They were getting too close to the Tree of Souls. She sheathed her sword and climbed a nearby tree to get there quicker and to stay out of sight. As she ran along the branches, a nearby roar caught her attention. Her tail stood and her eyes widened, she recognized that roar.

Nìnrra looked toward the sound and nearly fell out when she saw a Palulukan approach her mate. Her protective instincts shifting into gear and she almost leaped out of the tree, but something stopped her. She hissed but stood back and felt her being become overwhelmed with pride. Neytiri was riding a Palulukan, a Palulukan had chosen her. Nìnrra smiled and made a move to follow her. Her ears flickered at faint groaning and she swung around.

Peering between branches, she spotted a familiar body. She quickly jumped out of the tree and ran over to them. "No no no. Please no, Eywa!" Nìnrra's voice cracked as she stared at the sight before her. Kawkxan lay on the forest floor with a puddle of blood under her and her eyes partially open in a dull stare. She dropped to her knees and shakingly grabbed Kawkxan's shoulders. She let out a sob at the unresponsive woman and clutched her chest at the overwhelming pain. "Not you too..what did I do? Eywa, what did i do?" She whispered that sentence over and over.

Just when Nìnrra put her faith in Eywa, the goddess would rip the rug out from under her feet. What did she do to deserve this? Was she destined to feel miserable for eternity like this? If so, what was the point in living? Nìnrra pulled Kawkxan's body to a safe place and sobbed as she placed a flower on the woman's chest. She wanted to scream, she wanted to burn the world down, with her in it. Instead, she gathered herself and stood. There was a faint pain in her abdomen and she felt unbelievably tired but she pushed that to the back of her mind.

Nìnrra cut the Sky Person's head off with no mercy and shoved her sword through another's chest. She was hurting, so very deeply, it felt like someone was ripping her insides apart, both physically and mentally. She desperately wanted this pain to stop, so she continued killing, hoping that it would at least subdue it. All it did was make her more angry. This hatred consuming her, changing her. Nìnrra let out a scream of pure fury and exasperation, that sounded so broken and tired, it shocked even her.

Nìnrra allowed herself to sit down and actually see all the damage she's done. Bodies were littered everyone around her, most having their heads cut off, but all showing deep knife marks. She looked down at herself and nearly gasped at the sheer amount of blood covering her. She had her fair share of wounds she hadn't even noticed during all the adrenaline. Nìnrra wrapped her arms around herself and just took a moment to breathe. She was exhausted.

Nìnrra ripped her sword from the person's chest and felt a rush of dizziness hit her. She stumbled and caught herself, thankfully. Her breaths came out shortened and her head felt like it was splitting in two. She ignored the pain and flinched at a loud crash close by. Nìnrra sighed and tried to hide her limp as she climbed a tree. She couldn't let any Sky People escape, no matter what.

Neytiri thundered through the forest on her new Palulukan friend and easily dodged the branches pointing her way. The Palulukan sniffed at a scent that was way too close to where Jake's link pod was, so she went there with determination. As she got closer, she spotted a man in his amp suit and let out a yell as she launched at him. The man turned around just in time and barely dodged the attack.
