LITTLE KINÄ RAN AROUND THE FOREST WITH NO SENSE OF DIRECTION. The child hadn't realised how far she was from home or how close she was to sky people territory. She giggled and ran along with the animals. She heard a loud cracking noise and decided to follow it. She crouched behind some bushes and peeked over to see a group of sky people.
They had guns and were bulldozing trees in the area. Kinä's ears dropped and her tail curled around her in fear. This was a very bad idea. She quickly bit quietly stood up and began making her way back home. She was cut off by another group of sky people emerging from between the trees. She hissed and tried to run the other way only to be surrounded once again.
Her braveness was diminishing quick and tears came to her eyes.

Nìnrra playfully shoved Nì'awve as they began walking back to hometree. Nìnrra had decided to help her brother patrol to pass some time before they had to get back to Kinä. They were practically raising the young girl now. It's not like they weren't before but at least they had some help when their mother was there.
They arrived at hometree fairly quickly and came across one of the older women that watched the children. "I see you. Where is Kinä?" Nì'awve questioned with a tilt of his head. "I thought you had already picked her up? She left about an hour ago." At the woman's words the siblings glanced at each other with matching worried expressions.
Kinä eyed the sky people around her with anxiousness and pulled at the restraints around her wrists. She wasn't sure what they were saying as she knew very little English. She gave up trying to move from under the person on top of her awhile ago. They thought it'd be 'funny' to sit on her back and hold her queue in a tight grip. They poked and prodded at her like an animal on showcase.
It was getting darker and she prayed to the Great Mother for someone to save her but she was beginning to give up hope.
Nìnrra clutched her bow tightly as she leaped from tree to free with her brother right behind her. They had no clue where Kinä was but they weren't gonna give up. Their ears twitched at the sound of loud crying and yelling. They craned their ears and held their breath. When they heard the sound again, they ran faster.
Kinä hissed at the man on top of her and cried loudly as he dug his heel into her back. She was becoming exhausted and was ready to give up at this point. It didn't look like anyone would save her. As soon as those words came to mind, an arrow launched into a man's head across from her. Her head shot up excitedly.
The man on top of her barely had time to react before he was tackled off. They rolled on the ground before Nìnrra finally plunged her knife into the man's throat over and over. She quickly jumped out the way of gunfire and hid behind a nearby tree. "Go Kinä! Now!" Kinä didn't have to be told twice before she was up and running. She ran before being yanked back by her queue and hissed at the man.
The man holding her queue fell to the ground limp as another arrow impaled him. Nì'awve grabbed Kinä's arm and pulled her behind some bushes. "Stay here." He hastily spoke before running back where they just left. Nìnrra exhaled put her knife back in its sheath. She notched an arrow onto her bow and peaked around the tree. She saw a man aim his gun at her before Nì'awve jumped down and struck him with his knife.
Nìnrra took this as her chance and jumped from behind the tree. She shot a man behind Nì'awve and quickly notched her bow to shoot another. Her aim was deadly but she only had so many arrows. She called to Nì'awve and they quickly sprinted off into the forest. They dodged incoming gunfire.
Kinä looked around her anxiously and counted down the seconds her siblings were gone. She screamed as two figures landed behind her in crouched positions but she quickly relaxed once she realized it was her siblings. Nìnrra cut the restraints off her wrist and brought her into a tight hug. "Thank you great mother." Nìnrra whispered and pet Kinä's hair. Nì'awve brought his arms around the two and they smiled in thankfulness.

Nìnrra sighed and stretched her aching limbs. The event that happened a couple days ago was still fresh on her mind but she decided to push everything to the side. Neytiri was waiting for her. The girl saying she wanted to show her something. So with a sigh she got up and walked down the spiral. She passed Nì'awve and Kinä on her way and gave them a smile.
She spotted Neytiri a couple feet away and decided to jog over. Neytiri immediately intertwined their fingers, the action making Nìnrra's face heat up. Neytiri smiled at her and dragged her away into the forest. Along the way Neytiri pointed out pretty flowers and rocks. Nìnrra watched her with a fond smile and her tail curled around her thigh.
Minutes later they came across a leafy area. Neytiri pulled back the leaves and revealed a cute set up. There was their favorite snacks and a woven blanket on the ground. The area was scattered with flowers and bioluminescent plants for when it got dark. Nìnrra turned to Neytiri with a beaming smile.
The girls giggled and sat on the blanket. The further in, you could see a beautiful waterfall behind them leading into a pretty pool of water. Nìnrra fawned over everything and immediately began eating. Neytiri laughed at her excitement. "This is so nice, Tiri. I really appreciate it." Nìnrra spoke to her with a soft smile.
Neytiri blushed at her words and shyly nodded, "Of course. Anything for you."
