THE FOREST WAS QUIET. THE ONLY INDICATION THAT IT WAS LIVELY WAS THE CHIRPS OR INSECTS AND ANIMALS. Nìnrra admired this sound. She ran her fingers through the grass and smiled at how soft it was. She smiled a lot more in the forest. Nìnrra connected her queue with her Pa'li. "Good boy, Hoan." he voice was soft as she smoothed out his leathery skin.

She skillfully climbed onto his back and began their trek deeper into the forest. Hoan was difficult to tame. He didn't let anyone near him and often ran away. Nìnrra was glad she took the challenge. Though, he still doesn't let anyone else mount him. His strong legs ran and jumped. She'll never get over this feeling.

Neytiri was going over archery once again with Jake. He was an okay archer but that does not mean he can't be better. Jake felt that he was pretty damn good and was getting agitated at going over it again. "You must gather your emotion and release it with the arrow. Calm your mind." She put her hand on his chest and brought it down to visualize. Jake tensed at the contact and overshot his arrow. Neytiri sighed and shook her head, "Again."

Nìnrra smiled over at them before walking away to find her siblings. Nì'awve was supposed to be watching Kinä. After walking for some time, she spotted them near a pond. Her jingling beads made her presence known and they turned to face her. "I see you. Why are you just sitting here?"

They both shrugged in unison. Nìnrra examined their body language and nodded her head in understanding. "So this is about mother." She stared ahead at the water. Kinä's ears dropped and her tail curled showing her sadness. They hadn't seen their mother in so long it should be worrying.

Except Nìnrra wasn't. This was a recurring theme for their mother. Don't get her wrong, she loves her mother but she will not excuse her either. "She is wrong for leaving us. It's okay to feel upset about it. It's valid." Nìnrra was awful at comforting but she tries.

Nì'awve snorted and sarcastically spoke, "Wow that makes us feel so much better. Thank you sister." Nìnrra scoffed and grabbed his neck to dunk his head in the water. Kinä laughed loudly at the sight and began to mercilessly splash Nì'awve. He coughed and sputtered before yelling dramatically.

The only child Nìnrra likes is Kinä and even then the small na'vi irks her soul. So when a group of children began to drag her away her first thoughts were thanking Eywa she didn't slap these children. The group of kids giggled and pushed her to sit in between an equally as confused Jake and Neytiri.

Nìnrra sighed and decided to just go with the flow. Jake on the other hand was asking questions left and right and Neytiri was side eyeing him. The kids began a braiding circle and demanded the older ones follow. With hesitant hands, Nìnrra began to unbraid Jake's hair. Jake took the time to make sure each braid in Neytiri's hair was as neat as possible.

Neytiri's ears flattened against her head and her tail smacked him across the face when he tugged too hard. She immediately turned around to yell at him. Jake stuck his tongue out and tugged on her hair again. Nìnrra smiled at their bickering and shook her head.

When Neytiri began to curse a little too loudly Nìnrra raised her hand to silence them. The bickering duo immediately quiet themselves and gave her their full attention. She tried not to laugh at how well that worked and motioned for them to continue braiding. The rest of the session was calm and quiet. Their minds the same.
