NÌNRRA STARED AT THE WOMAN IN SHOCK AND COULD FEEL HER HEART COMPLETELY BREAK AT THE SIGHT IN FRONT OF HER. Nì'avwe coughed as the knife pushed through his chest and looked in the eyes of the one holding it. Lenrra twisted the knife with a sick smile. Nìnrra quickly snapped out of her shock, and kicked the woman off her brother.

She turned to Nì'avwe and felt her tears fall. He was dead. Their own mother had killed him. Nìnrra clutched her sword harder and turned to her smiling mother, "Why? What could possibly be your reason for killing your own child?" Lenrra scoffed and walked closer to her with a eye roll. "Enough with the dramatics. The humans offered me a deal." She shrugged like it was no big occurrence.

Nìnrra hissed and unsheathed the knife on her thigh, Lenrra copying her actions with an arrogant smirk. Nìnrra made the first move and lifted her leg, kicking the woman in the chest. Lenrra stumbled from the force but threw her knife at Nìnrra who barely dodged. Lenrra let out a yell and charged at her, Nìnrra grabbed her shoulders to stop her from falling over. Lenrra bit into her shoulder drawing blood and Nìnrra yelled in pain.

Nìnrra growled and threw her head back, slamming it into Lenrra's. The force made them both stumble back in pain. Nìnrra wiped her bloody nose and threw her knife down. She hastily ran over to her sword and said a short prayer to Eywa, she turned to Lenrra who was still a bit delirious from the headbutt. Nìnrra took this a her chance and jumped at the woman with her sword raised.

Neytiri crouched behind the fallen tree where her ikran lay dead and could feel her world stop. She looked around her frantically and flinched at all the explosions, screams, and gunfire. She watched with wide eyes as the forest was set on fire, animals with it. They were destroying everything and Neytiri felt so helpless. She softly patted Seyzey's head before taking cover behind a tree, the humans were getting closer.

Nìnrra leaned back to dodge the knife attack and brought her knee up and kneed Lenrra in the stomach. Lenrra yelled in frustration and pain, her eyes were crazy and Nìnrra couldn't recognize the woman in front of her. They'd been fighting for what seems like ever, they both were a little sluggish. Lenrra kicked Nìnrra and used the distraction to tackle her. They rolled a few times, each of them getting the upper hand until they landed with Nìnrra's hands around her throat.

Lenrra clawed at Nìnrra's hands and choked out words, "You will never be anything. You were such a disappointment, I had to go to Sky People for help." Nìnrra squeezed tighter at her words and let out a hiss. Suddenly, the ground beneath them gave away and they went falling with short screams. They were so caught up in fighting, they didn't notice how close to the edge of a cliff they were.

Nìnrra was relieved that it wasn't a big drop and readied herself for landing. Lenrra on the other hand, landed harshly on her back, knocking the wind out of her. Nìnrra stood over her with her sword raised and a solemn expression. "The only disappointment, is you, Mother. I'll be so much better off without you or anyone that didn't believe in me, in Nì'avwe,..in Kinä." Nìnrra sneered at the woman that was supposed to be her mother, and with a tired sigh, she drove the sword through the woman's heart.

Lenrra gasped as the sword was pulled from her chest and looked at Nìnrra with teary eyes. This wasn't how her plan was supposed to go, no, no. Nìnrra blinked her tears away and swore to herself she would never cry over this woman again. Nìnrra gave her mother one last look before walking away to grab her weapons.
