the next morning nymeria woke up early just walking at the shore thinking about what ao'nung had told her, she couldn't believer that he would've treated her the same way.
at the same time she wasn't surprised. ao'nung is known for being a bully.
she sighed plopping down on the sand looking at the far horizon that made the water shine from the sun.
"eywa give me strength and a sign to keep me sane" right after that a figure came from my left, it was lo'ak and my mood was already better.
we smiled at each other as he sat next to me.
it was just a coincidence i'm sure.
"good morning" he looked at me with a happy expression "good morning lo'ak, slept well?" he grinned scratching his ear as if he knew something i didn't "never better" i raised a brow but didn't said anything else.
"you?" he asked as i shrugged "i never sleep well at night" he frowned "sorry" i smiled seeing he felt bad "it's fine i'm used to it" a comfortable silence.
"i had an argument with-"
"i heard what you and-"
we both spoke at the same time looking at each other surprised.
"ao'nung?" i asked as he nod "oh" is all i said looking down "i'm sorry i didn't mean to over-" i shake my head with my hands in front of him "no don't worry it's nothing, we always have little arguments like this"
he nods as his yellow orbs were glued on mine "i feel like i'm getting between your friendship" deep inside lo'ak was laughing and how nymeria took his side and not ao'nung's.
"oh no you're not don't think of it, that's just ao'nung" lo'ak nods again as i look at the sand "i had the same problem in my home too" i look up at him "really?" we make eye contact again.
he held up his hand showing me his extra finger that i thought looked more attractive on him actually- stop what am i saying.
"demon. that's what they said" i gave him a sad smile holding his hand in my mine, he grinned looking at me "but my dad was toruk makto they didn't have the balls to say it to my face"
we both laugh knowing he was trying to get the mood out of the rain.
"thank you for taking my side" lo'ak shyly smiled at me, i returned the smile because how couldn't i? he's so cute when he smiles, i realized tuk has his smile which is even more cuter.
"do you have any siblings?" he asked as i shook my head "really? you're too good with tuk my family immediately started asking questions" i giggled now knowing that his family talks about me.
"she's adorable i always wanted a sibling-" "oh but please take mine! i insist take how many you'd like, please! take all of them actually" he joked begging on his knees making me laugh putting my hands on his shoulder.
