lo'ak's pov (omg can u believe it😭)
i don't even know why but i woke up in a good mood today, ignoring tuk jumping on top of me to wake me up.
i stood up looking around seeing only neteyam sharpening his dagger, it's been 5 minutes since i said i was gonna get ready and they all just left me here? wow and they're calling themselves family.
"slept well?" neteyam asked glancing over at me, putting his knife back while walking towards me.
i yawned with a nod "yeah i guess" he grinned putting his hand on my head, he always does this bro.
i crunch my face at his gesture pushing his hand away, he chuckled touching my shoulder "come on lets go eat" i stretched quickly before leaving the marui with neteyam.
splashing some water on my face, looking into the reflection making sure my hair was somewhat alright, putting it in place.
neteyam scoffed with a laugh "getting all pretty for nymeria?" i look at him seeing his stupid teasing grin, i roll my eyes ignoring his comment.
in fact i was, but i wasn't going to admit that to him, hell who am i? i have dignity still.

we spotted the rest of the family at the usual table, we were walking to them seeing tuk and kiri waving their hands at us but i stopped looking around for nymeria.
turning my head left and right, ugh where is she? she's usually earlier than me so that's weird.
after a few seconds i see her appearing with a tall intimidating man besides her. i gulped knowing that was her dad, the once olo'eyktan of tayrangi clan.
i really liked the story nymeria said of him, falling in love and staying here for his true love, it's sweet.
i smiled remembering about it, nym spotted me and waved at me with her pretty grin.
i wave back and i see her dad staring at me deeply, fuck i'm scared now what does he think of me? does he still think i'm childish?
at least he already praises neteyam, who wouldn't? he is the golden kid.
they started walking in my direction stopping just a feet away "hi lo'ak" i was kinda staring into the ground too intimidated to look up but i did.
i look at her then at her dad, damn he's so tall and muscular he could defo beat me up in a second if he wanted.
i gulped down feeling my palms get sweaty "hi nym.." i turn to her dad "good morning sir" i said with a slight nod giving him the i see you sign.
just after i thought he had enough of me he smiled, i surprisingly blinked not even expecting him to know how to smile, i swear he looks too tough to even laugh.
