Everything I wish for

Aurora's Pov

It's been five days and the day of the wedding is coming closer. I had to agree to the wedding cause there is no chance I would give up on my dreams. My dream is what I live for and no one on this earth can make me give up on my dreams. I asked my parents if I could at least meet the woman I am getting married to before the wedding but they said she is very busy learning and managing the business so she is unavailable. I thought maybe if I could meet her I would coax her into disagreeing with this marriage. I think she would understand me but no chance.

 Wedding preparation is going on this is going to be a grand wedding as the daughters of the richest families are getting married. A light shake from someone woke me up from my thoughts, we were in the cafeteria and yes no one knows about the wedding because the parents of both sides wanted to be quiet until marriage so it's cool but what will happen after the wedding? Everyone in my college will know oh my god I can't help but think about the judgements made by people around here. "You have been zoning out lately, is there anything troubling your Aura?". Juliet my crush of 2 years was asking me but what do I do now? I had thought of confessing to her on prom night but I will be married by then. I was internally crying it would be cheating wouldn't it be? " Nah nothing serious just college stuff anyways what about you? You are usually not seen in the cafeteria. What are you doing here all of a sudden and where are your friends you are not hanging out with them?"

"There is something I need to share with you I wouldn't mind your reply I just feel I need to take this off my chest". " what are you want to get off your chest? go ahead I am listening," I said but I think I saw a tint of pink on her cheeks and her nervousness was obvious. " The thing is that I..." my phone rings the caller id is of my mom. Now, what does she wants? I mumble under my breath " I am sorry I will take this and come back just wait here okay?". She nods and picks up the call walking out of the cafeteria.

"Hello, what is it mom why are you calling me during my college time?" I exclaim annoyed." Today you need to go wedding dressing shopping so after college directly drive to the address I will text you I will be waiting so don't be late".
"What if I don't want to go anyhow the marriage isn't my choice.", "Okay if you don't want a wedding dress according to your choice then I will just pick one that I like and you will have to wear that. Listen Aura wedding happens once and even if you are not ready for this one will regret it later if you do not look nice at your wedding so just don't be stubborn and come to the address I will be texting" and she hangs up before I could argue. It was already time for my last lecture so I returned to the cafeteria where Juliet was still waiting about whom I had completely forgotten. " So sorry the call lasted longer than I thought. What were you about to say", " oh nothing it's time for my class and I guess it's yours too so I will tell you later or how about we meet up after college and I will tell you?". "I would love to but I have some work with my mom so I can't today maybe next time is that alright?". She smiled looking disappointed she says okay and goes on her way towards her class. I feel bad for not hanging out with her, I walk towards my class.
