Everything I wish for

Athena's Pov

I watched Aurora rush upstairs almost worried that she might slip down the stairs with her slippers on. For the first time I noticed the freckles on her face and a scar under her eyes, I mean she looked so perfect. I cleared my throat and straighten my back. I saw Rosy looking over at me smiling, I know type the of a smile. She and I had grown a bit close ever since I moved in here she was there.

Within ten minutes Aurora came rushing down and it was my cue to stand walking. We both reached the door together. She looked at me with a confused expression, why do I find it cute? Something is wrong with me. It is usual to annoy me when someone made stupid expressions but why is it not the same for her?

" So are you also leaving for the office right now?" she asked. " Yes I am but first I will drop you off at your college. You don't have any ride and the bus stand is quite far from here so I thought of giving you a ride" I was maintaining eye contact with her, she has pretty eyes. UGHH!! Stop it. " Oh, there is no need for you will be late for your office, don't worry I will manage", Amy came over and said," Excuse me, you forgot your coffee" she handed it over to Aurora. " My office time is 9 am and your college is 8 so I guess you need help as you don't have much time," I said you might think it was sarcastic but it wasn't.

I opened the door and walked to my car and waited for her to come over and sit in the car. Is she shy? She looks like she is. " Thank you but you don't have to waste your extra hour of sleep for me I truly would have managed", "it's okay". I started to drive, indeed, my house was quite far from the city I didn't think it would be a trouble for Aurora to travel if she has own car then she won't have any trouble right? Maybe I should contact Mrs Weylin to send over her car to my house so easier for her to travel.

The drive was silent but I didn't find it awkward as I was busy in my thought when I looked over at Aurora she was staring out of the window and enjoying the view I guess. I looked over at her hand she didn't have her wedding ring on I know I told her that it was her choice but it did hurt a little bit. I just shrugged it off feeling that I was being overdramatic.

Soon I stopped in front of her college, " thank you again" she smile and exited the car. I nodded as she exited the car. I noticed the travel mug, I quickly took it and exited the car. I scurried towards her to catch up with her. I gripped her wrist she froze and then turned around to face me. She might have taken me for someone else. "your coffee, you forgot in the car." I raised the mug slightly and she took it, she smiled at me so precious, "thank you, you saved my day", I just nodded with a small smile. She turned around to walk but she faced me once again, "bye, have a good day at work," she said and turned away walking. I was too surprised to react I mean it's new but I ain't complaining. I went back to the car and drove off to my office. The day started well I guess.
