Everything I wish for

Athena's Pov

Since that night, our relationship has been very well, we kiss, hug, and talk for hours, like a real couple. Finally, I can open my heart to someone other than "her" and trust her. We are currently watching a movie cuddled on the large couch, it's so comfortable and not lonely anymore.

"Are you allergic to anything?" she said and I absentmindedly replied "Yes, seafood" Then I realised what I had said, Aura jumped off and stood straight. " seafood?? I had cooked that for you and you ate it..." she said worried. " Yeah, I did, but it's okay you didn't know," I said moving forward to grab her hand. " bu.. But you could have had a serious reaction, you could have denied it rather than eating it silently," she said sadly.

"I could have but then your efforts would go to waste, wouldn't it? So, I just ate it, it was delicious and look I am alright standing in front of you." I said grabbing her wrist and moving closer to her. She just stood there with her head hung low, and then I heard a sniff. " are you alright, Aura?" I said now worried. " what if something happened to you? It was so stupid of me I should have asked before using my head" she said softly. "It's okay love, I am alright and it was my fault for not telling you, don't cry, it's alright," I said pulling her in a hug. She was crying on my chest.

I sat on the couch pulling her on my lap. " I don't know why I am crying, sorry, it's embarrassing," she said hiding her face in my neck. I chuckled a little at her cuteness. " it's alright" I said, and I felt her nod her head. "let's head to bed, It's getting late" I said picking her up and carrying her to our bedroom. "Stop carrying me, I am not a child," she said trying to be stern. "Oo, I know," I said. I put her on the bed and put the covers over her. Walked to the other side, and slipped under the cover. She kissed me on my forehead, and it took me in shock, " Good night, Athena" she said and turned her back to me. I recovered from my daze, pulled her closer to me, and snuggled in her neck, "good night Aura" I said and fell to sleep with peace in me.

I had to get up early as I had a meeting to attend at the office today and a lot of work, but I feel bad for not dropping off Aurora, all though she said there is nothing to feel bad about, it is her daily routine to drive herself. It's just nice waking up to Aura next to me every day, she looks so gorgeous when she sleeps. I know I sound like a cheesy person from some books and movies but this is what it feels like and I cannot deny it. There were a lot of documents to sign and also I had to attend meetings upon meetings.

I walk into my office with my assistant by my side telling me my schedule for the other half of the day. I didn't even eat lunch and I miss Aura, should I call her? Will she be in her college? I walked to my office door and pushed open the huge door, " okay Rick, send me the rest of the documents" I said to my assistant and walked into my office. I want some alone time. "Hi", the sweetest voice I missed so much said walking up to me from the couch in my office.

Seeing her bright smile made me forget all the tiredness I had been feeling. I returned the gesture and smiled at her, " you look so tired, don't overwork yourself", she said with worry in her eyes. " I am fine, just too much work, don't worry," I said walking up to her, " how can I not worry", she said looking me in the eye. She cupped my face and pecked me on my lips I smiled against her lips. "are you hungry? I brought lunch, and no seafood this time" she said also whispering her last words, "I have told you not to feel bad about that incident, I am not angry at you and it was not your fault". She just nodded and pulled me by holding my hand to the couch. " Come sit, I brought your favourite food, before you ask I asked your mom what was your favourite" she exclaimed excitedly.

My mom!! I almost chuckled at her words, how would my mom know what was my favourite food, she didn't even know I was allergic to seafood. But I just reacted with a smile, I don't want Aura to feel bad again. " Okay, I am starving" I replied. She opened the lunch box and the smell hit me, it was chicken and rice. Of course, the most basic food was suggested so my mom doesn't look bad, genius!!. Before you get me wrong, I like chicken and rice and would like anything cooked by my wife, but it's not my favourite.

She handed me the food and I immediately started eating, I was truly very hungry, and I moaned at the taste of the food, it was so delicious. " this is so much better than the one I have ever eaten" I felt like I am eating real food after so many years in boarding school. I had forgotten the taste of Real food. We were kept under a very strict diet and strict rules, my boarding life has done no good in me, everything is traumatic and bad, it is a story for other times.

Our lunch was soon over and Aura had to go back to finish her assignments also this lunch was a bribe for permission for an overnight stay at Reka. I told her again she does not need to get my permission for anything, "I know but this is an overnight stay so obviously I need your permission and if I just inform you, you will too just inform me about your whereabouts, and what if I don't like you going somewhere, so it goes both ways" she said

Packing her lunch box, kissed me and said bye, I offered to walk her to the parking lot but got a no answer, " you are already tired so no need to come, it's not like I will get lost" she said smilingly and walked out. I called Rick and told him to walk her to the car.

After some minutes a knock on my door was heard, "I said, the person who walked in was Rick. " ma'am there is a woman downstairs claiming she knows you and wants to meet you, this is her card" he said handing over the card to me. I was confused, who would it be? I took the card from his hand and read the name. My blood ran cold, and my breath hitched, I could feel my sweat trailing down my back. Soon, I found myself fuming in anger and ordered Rick, "Command the security to take this woman off my property and never let her set her foot on this land ever again, do you get it?" I said in my low deep voice, " y...yes ma'am" Rick fumbled, I could understand why.
