Everything I wish for

Athena's Pov

Luckily my allergic reaction was controlled by my Epinephrine injection. It wasn't severe when I went to the hospital so Aurora did not notice anything. She will blame herself so it's better if she does not know.

It's the weekend and I have a family gathering tonight but the point is that there are going to be people who I don't even know properly. It's going to be a hell of an introduction and awkwardness. I look up from my computer screen and the scene of Aurora dancing on her own that night plays in my head, it's so vivid as if it's happening in front of me right now. Her reactions were the cutest when she noticed me standing there. Just like that night, I found myself smiling at the thought of her. Aurora makes me feel emotions that I had stopped feeling a long time ago, it is difficult to trust again.

A knock on the door pulled me out, "yes come in" I said fixing myself. As soon as the door creaked open her smell hit me. She smells like a water lily with a tint of rose in it I don't know what is it but it intoxicates me every time it hit my nostrils. " I thought you might be hungry I brought lunch for you," she said lifting the tray slightly. " Thank you but you didn't have to," I said getting up from my chair and walking towards her. " It's alright and you only said this is our house and we share it so we should even share caring right?" I said setting the tray on the coffee table. I was left speechless by her. I was all of a sudden feeling hot. I turned to face my back to Aurora and calmed myself down.

I turned to look at her, and she was smiling," eat it when you are done working" she said before walking outside the room I was still too stunned to speak. I sat down and ate my lunch and went back to work. I had to finish before we go over to the gathering. At this gathering, there are going to be people I have never seen or don't remember seeing.

The theme was business casual, so picking an outfit for tonight wasn't a trouble for me but did Aurora find one? I should have at least asked her once, so stupid of me. Even though the gathering begins at 6 pm the house where it was being held was far from here so we had to start driving early but it could wait a little further until Aurora isn't ready. She must be anxious.

I planned to wear a white button-up with open-top buttons, a long overcoat hanging over my shoulders, and black dress pants. I know it is just like every other movie about a rich man, but I like dressing up like this. I fixed my hair in a back direction initially but my hair has grown so it wasn't giving so I decided to tie a man's bun. I were my favorite cologne, a wristwatch, and formal boots and I was ready.

I hope Aurora like it, at this point I won't even question myself thinking about Aurora.
