Everything I wish for

After college, I drove to the address my mom had texted me. I don't feel like putting too much of afford into this wedding so I decided that I will buy the simplest dress I see and get over with this quickly. As soon as I enter the shop I spot my mom going through some of the dresses but I guess it was for her. I walk up to her and she notices me" oh there you are I have picked up some dresses for you but if you do not like any of them then you can choose your own". The dresses are presented to me it's not that the dresses were not good, they were but I didn't like them I wish I could wear my design but I won't put so much effort so I tell the staff that I will like something simpler than these and I get a confused look from my mother." What? You can't wear a simple wedding dress while getting married to a wealthy family. You need to look good and feel rich". I roll my eyes, looking toward the staff and tell them to take to the simple dress section. They do as told while going through the dresses few of them catch my eye so, in the end, I pick up the one that looks like the simplest dress in the store which is still very pretty. My mom tries to argue with me over the dress but I win after all I have her stubbornness. She scoffs and pays for the dress and we drift in opposite directions.

The dresses will be delivered to the address of the wedding so that it doesn't get damaged before the wedding. I don't have anything to do for the whole day so stop by a café for something sweet. I have sweet tooth and I can't go on without some chocolate truffle pastry and latte. While waiting in line in the café I noticed a tall person standing in the line. They were wearing black long overcoats which I couldn't see clearly and I noticed the cashier and most of the people in the café staring at them. As soon as she turned back I understood stood why they were staring at her with their eyes out. She was gorgeous and had an aura of authority and power. I didn't realise I was staring with my jaw dropped until she saw me and I flinched "how can someone be so gorgeous, what the fuck", "excuse me" the barista called and I snapped out and ordered my cup of coffee. My mind is hung over the woman I saw at the coffee shop, so pretty usually I'm not the insecure type but if she stands beside me or anywhere near me I would be dead out of insecurity.

"Waking up to the sound of vehicles honking, there is no better way to start the day, right? As soon I opened my eyes to the loud noise of the honks my phone vibrated, it was just a reminder about my unwilling wedding. My wedding is in three days and I have still not seen the bride, great.
