Athena's Pov

I was at the clubs making rounds when my phone vibrated in my pocket. On seeing the screen it was Aurora's text asking if she could hang out with her friends tonight. Why did she ask if I was okay? Does she think I will bind her from her freedom? Am I too strict? I replied by saying that she doesn't have to ask me permission she can do wherever she wants. Just to call me when she needs to. And to be safe that is what is important to me.

Putting my phone back into my pocket I look over to the ground floor more people are filling up. It's getting louder and louder. As I was about to go back to my cabin something caught my eye. A girl was being cornered by a guy and his friends surrounding them. She looked uncomfortable and this kind of behaviour is not tolerated in my club. I immediately told my assistant to tell the bouncers to follow me to the ground floor and started to walk downstairs. It was crowded but due to the huge structure of my bouncers, the people started making way for us.

"Sir, could you please get your hands off her?" one of the bouncers requested cause why not you request your customer first and if they don't agree then take action. " Who the fuck do you think you are? You are not even qualified to talk to him like that. How about you mind your own business and guard the damn gate" one of his friends spoke very disgustingly. " Hey, chill man it's alright they just don't know who I am right? It's okay, we are just having fun here" the guy who was still cornering the girl spoke. "It doesn't look like she is enjoying it so how about you let her go when you are asked nicely" I spoke stepping forward and maintaining eye contact with the guy. "So, now a woman will tell me what to do" Oh my god he is getting on my nerves now as I noticed him tracing his hand on the sides of the women he had cornered. "Get your hands off her" I demanded with a tint of anger in my voice.

" What if I don't then, what are you gonna do? Call cops, throw me out, do you even know whom you are speaking to" his hands still not leaving the girl's body. "Tackle them" no sooner did my words leave my mouth than my bouncers twisted the guy's and his friend's hands on their backs and trust me it was funny to watch them struggle and whine and curse in pain. Stepping forward and bending a little down towards the guy I don't even know the name but he reeked of something nasty. "Do I look like I care who you are? It's my club and I do not tolerate nuisance here" in a raspy and husky voice. "You are playing with fire you don't know what my father will do if I am hurt" he exclaimed angrily but I could feel the fear in his voice. "Go ahead and complain it to your father and you will need my name to complete your complaint right? Tell him it was Athena Abel who threw you out of the club. I will wait for him" I told him in a very low tone and straightened my back. I nodded at my bouncers and they knew what they had to do, they dragged them out of the club.

I noticed that all the people in the club were staring in our direction. " I sincerely apologies for such an interruption during the enjoyment. Please continue and as an apology, the drinks will be on the house tonight," I apologized and bowed a little. I caught a very familiar pair of eyes staring at me, Aurora! I was surprised but tried not to show it I was snapped out, " thank you so much for saving me" the girl from earlier spoke. "There is no need to thank me for it's my responsibility. Enjoy yourself" I nodded and turned around to leave when she, "why don't I buy you a meal as a thank you? If you don't mind," she said. What, you mean "if you don't mind" I obviously mind," it's okay you don't have you as I said it's my responsibility," I said and this time before she could tell anything I walked away but I could still feel pair of eyes looking at me. I couldn't even get a better look at Aurora due to the crowd in front of her. Now I am feeling embarrassed due to the event that just happened. Oh god, I want to bang my head on the table.
