Chapter 6: The First Erabus

Kareena arrived back at Moon Kingdom, her home, she gazed about in tranquillity, disturbed only by the sound of Mark throwing up in a bag once again. Zoe ran a hand over his back while looking about, a huge smile plastered on her face. Mark stood upright as Serena handed him something to drink, Zoe took this opportunity to rush over to Kareena and literally jump for joy, "Hearing about it is one thing...but seeing it, wow!"

"Hearing about it?" Mark questioned.

Zoe lowered her gaze, "Yeah, Kareena told me all about her life...well other life."

Mark glanced at Kareena.

"It wasn't to cause any problems between you two, I just needed someone, and Zoe is like a sister to me..."

Mark chuckled, "There are no problems...This is weird, yeah...but I suppose it beats worrying over exams, right?"

Kareena and Zoe smiled.

Skylar rushed out and retrieved Scoops from Serena, her penguin was vibrating with happiness.

"She's quite a tough baby," Serena acknowledged, "She brought us all back without a strain."

Skylar's eyes shone with pride, "She's my tough baby. Seth will be so happy!"

"Hey, about Seth, is it really him?" Kareena questioned.

Serena shrugged, "Haven't been to Star yet to find out."

"No one's seen him since the fight, but it has to be him," Skylar added.

"Seth and Star, two things that sound right up my alley" Mark mentioned as a joke.

"Uhm...well...it actually is up your alley. I'll explain later," Zoe said.

"I would suggest getting them both checked out, before anything else, then go see mother and father. I'm going back to Star with Sky," Serena said aside to Kareena.

"I want to come with, if Seth is back, I need to talk to him."

"You need to accommodate your guests, Kareena. Swapping realms hasn't affected them yet, but it will. Consult the ancestors, they might know a way to help them transition here easier."

Before Kareena could protest, Serena cut her off, "If it is him, I will tell you. If it isn't, I will tell you that too. For now, focus on your own tasks."

Serena faced Maleah, "You should go with them, get checked out too."

Maleah nodded and followed Kareena and her friends.

"Handle his body with care," Serena instructed the two elites. They bowed and carried Grey's body away.

"Are you upset with her?" Skylar asked when it was just them.

Serena shook her head with a smile, "It's not that...I'm just worried about what happens now."

"What happened at the academy?"

Serena contemplated telling Skylar a lie considering she was just a child, but she decided against it, "Darkness was able to cross into Earth realm, they killed Grey and tried to kill Kareena for her powers."

Skylar's eyes widened, "I was always told that the Darkness couldn't cross into that realm because it was a non-magic realm."

"We were told the same things, Sky. That's why I need to speak with your father, he's head of security and protection for us all, we need to know what to do next. My parents will take care of Grey's send off, and then cater to Kareena. Unfortunately, time isn't a luxury we have."

Skylar nodded, "Let's go then."

Skylar's eyes shone a radiant blue and, in an instant, they were gone.
