Seth walked into the room of ancestors, the doors closed behind him, trapping him in a room full of white. He walked a few steps and sighed, he wasn't in a mood to waste time, "Could a prophecy be wrong?"

"No...there are no wrong prophecies, nor are there prophecies you can change. Yours remains the same, embrace it."

"I thought I understood- I did fall, and Serena was saved, Kareena was returned home to accept her true identity...I was ready to die, and I did, because I accepted that prophecy... but you're telling me it wasn't enough? Why was I brought back..."

"You still have a higher calling...Your biggest challenge approaches, make your preparations."

Seth frowned.

"Your soul is slipping away; we feel your emptiness. But no one can question your decision should you choose to let go...you were destined for greatness, Seth Erabus Phoenix...but you were never destined to live through it."

Seth chuckled softly, "I had a feeling you'd say that, just had to make sure. Thank you." Seth thought about something for a moment, "It's you who creates these prophecies, right? Our ancestors..."

"They do not come from anywhere, they just come to be- all we do is relay them, and all you can do is abide by it."

"And what if I don't?"

The voices seemed to chuckle in a sinister manner, "There is no choice in the matter, child. Prophecies will come into full fruition with one's acceptance or without...it is all about the grand scheme..."

"It isn't right...many lost their lives for prophecies that weren't even theirs, many more still will...Don't you care about that?"

"Do you fear your death?"

"I don't. But it needs to end somewhere".

"Impossible...a few lives in exchange for the grand scheme is the price we pay..."

"Your grand scheme is something we pay the price for. Dark realm was your enemy, it's not mine. That cycle ends now."

"Mind your words, boy. We have lived far longer than you and have seen all..."

"If I die, whether by your prophecy, fate or my choice- I'll be taking the magic that keeps you anchored here with me."

The voices angered, "You dare threaten those who walked before you! Who paved the way for you!"

"It isn't a threat. You had your time and your reign, both have long since passed. Serena will pave the way for a unified Kingdom and before I go, I will make sure there is a seat at the table for Dark realm. No more prophecies. Just free will. Make your peace, ancestors, for in the grand scheme of things, this was inevitable." Seth said, flicking his coat behind him as he walked away.

The white room started to shake violently.

Rachel was playing with a bow string when Chris approached, "Need some help?"

Rachel shook her head, "I reckon I could show you a thing or two myself with this", she put the bow down and smiled.

Chris smiled and sat beside her, "I don't doubt that...I was trained to wield all weapons but as time went on, I preferred combat up close. My swords, my blades, my powers, my physical strength."

Rachel nodded knowingly, "You're good at everything, I've just got this, but I'm happy with it."

"Was it just Seth who helped you?"

Rachel nodded and looked away.

Chris nudged her, "You know...your face isn't the only giveaway..."

Rachel glanced at him, trying to understand what he meant and then noticed the freshly bloomed flowers at their feet, she rolled her eyes at herself. "He didn't have to teach me, so I guess I'm just feeling grateful that he did. He's a good teacher..."
