The ground began to shake violently around the realm. The sun became visible but seemed to be turning to dust, everything around them was turning to dust.
“What’s happening?”
Rachel touched the ground, “The ground, its fading…”
Chris frowned, “It’s a realm core…the gem was a realm core! If Sun Kingdom is fading, it’s because she’s destroyed it…we need to move now!”
Liam picked up his mother’s body and they all raced towards the border. Leo way ahead them, scouting the way in the darkness.

King Alastair placed his hand on the barrier dividing Star from Sun, it vibrated. King George stood at his side, his hand through the barrier, he pulled it back and shook his head, “I fear the worst has happened…”
King Alastair looked at him, “It can’t be…”
Kareena’s eyes returned from their white glow; she held her hand up pushing the darkness back, but her attention was on the Kings.
“Dad, what’s happened?” Skylar asked.
King Alastair seemed too stunned to speak but he composed himself and called out to Renay, “Any word from Christian?”
Renay spoke solemnly, “They’ve begun locking their Kingdom down, we have a small window to work with, but we won’t be able to evacuate everyone.”
“I’ll help, Scoops can take a load, and we can load the jets that remain…” Skylar suggested.
King Alastair nodded, “Steer clear of this barrier… as of this moment, Sun Kingdom has been permanently lost.”
Kareena choked and teared up, thinking only of Liam and their friends.

Leo doubled back and growled lowly at Liam.
“What is it? We can’t stop now,” Chris said.
“We won’t make it to the barrier, the ground has already disappeared there…” Liam said softly.
“Then we keep running, we can try to make it to Dark realm. Their realm surrounds us all,” Chris suggested.
Liam opened his mouth to say something when he felt a crack in the ground beneath him, his breathing quickened, and he glanced at his friends in alarm for a moment before the ground broke off into dust entirely. A cold air overcame them all as their vision blurred into nothing. Dust surrounded them and they felt themselves drifting violently before it all stopped, and they were lost.
The dust settled and nothing remained. Where the Golden Kingdom once thrived, was now only a void.
