Alcina didn't know how long she had been in this room, but she knew she was starting to go stir crazy. Pacing the length of the chain she was only able to make it to the center of the room. Her thoughts raced as she thought about her family and pack. What must her son's be thinking? What about Xavier? She could feel a small amount of his anxiety and knew what he was actually feeling just be overwhelming. She heard the door unlock and turned to face it, preparing to face her abductor. A tall blonde woman with legs for days walked in and smirked.
"So you are finally awake. Good." She smiled closing the door behind her. "You see, my pet has a grudge against you and I want to know why. That is before we drain you and your little thing of blood."
"Go to hell." Alcina answered spitting on the ground.
"Brent seems to think you don't deserve the life you have. I want to know you. I want to know how you live and why he hates you. I'm Anastasia by the way." She said holding out her hand.
"Alcina." She replied shaking the woman's ice cold hand. Shivering she drew back her hand and eyed the strange woman. She was beautiful. There was not a flaw to be seen anywhere and her beauty was so perfect that it was unnatural. Without another word the woman swung her hand, hitting Alcina in the face, and causing her to stumble. The blows kept coming and all Alcina could do was cower into the fetal position and try to protect her child. Soon the open handed blows became punches which swiftly turned into kicks. After what felt like hours the woman walked away and left Alcina bleeding on the floor.
Sitting up Alcina noticed the woman left the door open. Pulling a pin from her now disheveled hair, Alcina began to work on the lock that bound her. The only thing she cared about was getting out of this place and protecting her child. Ignoring the waves of pain, Alcina worked on the lock for thirty minutes before it finally clicked open. Quickly pulling the chain from her throat, she ran out of the door and into a hallway. Unsure which direction to go Alcina guessed and went to the right. Immediately up the stairs was a rogue with his back turned.
Alcina quietly snuck up behind him and broke his neck without a second thought. Sidestepping the dead man, she allowed his body to hit the ground with a hard thud. From the looks of the building, Alcina guessed it was an old school house. One that most likely belonged to the witches before their relocation. Every door she looked in had broken desk tossed about the room, and blackboards with partial lessons on them. Crouching back down, she continued to sneak throughout the large building until she came to a set of double doors.
She approached the double doors and pushed them open, immediately greeted with cool evening air. Before she could get any farther a hand grabbed her by the back of her hair and pulled her back inside. Clawing and kicking did her no good. Seconds later she was slammed unto a table and get arms and legs strapped down.
"Hey Al. Miss me?" Brent said smiling as though he had lost his mind. He gets up a shiny silver scalpel and his smile widened. "We're play a little game called operation. You ready? Let's see if you survive."
Without hesitation he pulled up her shirt and ripped off her pants before digging the scalpel into her, just between the hips.
Xavier felt a pull and the scene before him began to fade away.
"Xavier! Come back, dammit!" He heard Eli's voice before feeling a sting on his face. He opened his eyes to see Eli holding him by the shoulders.
"Why did you pull me out?! She needed me!" Xavier screamed shoving Eli away.
"I've been trying to wake you for an hour now! She needs you here! You can't help being stuck in her head!" Eli screamed back and ran his fingers through his hair in frustration.
"You're right. I'm sorry. Any news on her location?" He asked feeling guilty.
"Nothing. Your people are everywhere and still nothing." Eli said sitting on the couch.
"Was it actually real? What I saw?" Xavier asked turning to face Eli. Slowly lifting his head, Eli looked at Xavier and nodded grimly.
"What did you see exactly? All I know is you kept screaming and trying to help her." Eli asked.
"They beat her and just before I woke up, that bastard. He was- oh shit." Xavier said just before dunking his head into the office trash and releasing the contents of his stomach. Once he purged it completely he stood up. "He was cutting my child out of her."
