As 30 seconds turn into 1 week and 1 week turns into 3, I do not feel proud
I'm winning, I attempt to convince myself
I'm not
3 weeks turns into 30 seconds
Except, it's not a blade
It's not the way I dig my nails through my skin
Or the way I bite the skin from my lips
I maintain it well
3 weeks without the blade and 30 seconds sober
An addict
I may never truly quit
I plead
Eventually, it's replaced
Wether it's 30 seconds, 1 week, or 3
It does not matter
I never really quit, I find new ways, and I just say I did
