01 - Dreams

Hey Ree, are you free later?" Sandra asked. "Ah yes I am, ba't?" I answered, I got confused so I asked kung bakit n'ya tinanong. "I want to tell you something, kita tayo sa court, see ya!" She said. What could it be? "Class dismissed" Our professor said. Finally nag dismissed din. Pumunta agad ako sa court para makita si Sandra. "Hii!" I greeted her. "So ano 'yung gusto mo sabihin?" I asked. "Ree.." "Y-yeah?" I'm kinda nervous. "I like yo-" Then I sunddenly wake up, I saw Sandra in my dream saying something. It looks like she's confessing on me. I saw the clock, late na pala ako.

It's still 35 minutes before our class start, kaya pa naman 'to. After I do everything I need to do may 8 minutes pa'ko para pumasok, I guess mag cocommute ako.

Nasa school na'ko, I saw Sandra. "Hi Sa-" Lalapitan ko sana si Sandra, but I saw Khian, nilapitan niya si Sandra. I don't know why, I feel like I'm jealous, I mean I shouldn't be. Why? I already had a bf but I don't know right now. "Uy teh Aree!" Khate said, nilapitan niya ako. "Oh hi Khate" I greeted her. "Okay ka lang ba? Bakit ka nakatingin kila Khian? Saka bakit parang malungkot ka?" She asked. "I'm fine, wala lang. Ang saya nila 'no?" I answered her questions. "Uy parang may jelly ace dito" she said. "What do you mean po? Shut up and pumasok na tayo, we only have 3 minutes para makapasok." I said.

Our class is already starting, I can't focus and I don't know why. I keep thinking about my dream earlier. Anyway, she's Sandra, our class president also my childhood bestfriend. She's only my childhood bestfriend because we're not close now since the pandemic happened. Me and Sandra only talk when I ask her about our activities at school or kaya minsan kung magka-grupo kami and I'm her assistant leader.

- Fast Forward -

"Class Dismissed." Our professor said, recess na. I sat beside Khate kasi wala din namang siyang katabi. "Uy hi sec!" She greeted. They always call me sec/secretary because ako 'yung secretary nila. "Hii" I greeted her too. "Khate, I had a dream kanina." I said. "A dream? Oh ano meron?" She asked. "Kasi ang random lang ng nangyari don." I said. "What happened ba?" She said. "I dreamed about Sandra, and do'n sa dream ko.. It look likes she's confessing on me." I said. "Ah.. eh Ree, what if she really likes you? Anong gagawin mo?" She said. "Ha?" I asked. "Hatdog" "Sige. Hatdog mo mukha mo." I said. "Pero what if nga?" She asked. "Luh, I.. I don't know eh. You know what happened these past days naman 'di ba?" I said.

- Flashback -

It's already night. Pansin ko ang ingay nila sa gc namin, They're talking about something but 'di ko sila maintindihan kaya iniignore ko nalang, not until..

Reign texted.

"Sec? Aree? Okay ka lang ba?"
"Yes, I am. Bakit?"
"Yung totoo?"
"I am okay, Reign. What's wrong ba?"
"It's about Akhiro.."
"Ha? What's about Akhiro?"
"He cheated on you, he.. cheated with Sandra."

I felt my tears falling from my eyes. I don't know what's happening. Also Yana texted me about it and she send me a screenshot of Akhiro and Sandra's conversation. I'm speechless.. It will be my birthday tomorrow and I don't know what's happening.

"Beh 'wag ka umiyak"
"Nandito lang kami nila Els oh"

Everyone texted me, I keep ignoring their texts and chats, I wanted to be alone that time.

But now everything's okay. Ang rupok ko kasi.

- End of flashback -

"I know Aree, what if lang naman." She said. "Pero malay mo maging totoo." Dagdag niya pa. "We don't know Khate, it would be impossible 'cause I know na she still likes Akhiro, or maybe Khian too." I said. "You don't know lang, kasi ako alam ko and you'll see, Ree." She said, nag ooverthink ako that time, pa'no kung gusto niya nga din ako? I admit it, I kinda like her kahit ginawa niya pa din sa'kin 'yun, I think it's not her fault too. Pero hindi ko alam, kasi one of my friends is homophobic and I know what will be her reaction if malaman niya na gusto ko si Sandra because ang laki din ng naging galit niya kay Sandra nung nangyari 'yun.

- Fast Forward -

"Okay class good bye, see you all tomorrow, 'wag niyo kalimutan 'yung mga dadalhin niyo bukas." Our adviser said. Uwian na and mga officers nalang natira para mag-linis, being officer sucks. After namin mag-linis kami na ang uuwi. Mag-isa lang naman ako uuwi at wala akong kasama, I'm kind of scared now, sanay kasi ako na si mama ang nag susundo sa'kin pero now she's doing something important. "Hey." Someone called me, It's Sandra. "Oh, hi.." I greeted. "Wala kasi akong kasabay umuwi, p'wede sabay nalang tayo? Kung gusto mo lang." She said. "Oh yeah sure, okay lang sa'kin." I said and gave her a smile. Habang naglalakad kami, may sinabi siya. "Hey, about what happened nung nakaraan I'm really so-" I didn't let her finish what she's saying. "You know pres, it's really okay and it's not your fault to, alam ko naman na gusto mo si Akhiro. I don't know, maybe may kulang sa'kin kaya niya nagawa 'yun? 'wag mo nalang masyadong isipin 'yun, it's okay na." I said. "Pero kasi I also-" I still didn't let her finish it. "It's okay na. Don't worry about it." I gave her a smile and I hold her hand. I saw her face turning to red.. is she.. blushing? Well, It looks like I'm blushing too. "Hahatid nalang kita sa inyo and uuwi na ako mag-isa." I said. "Kaya mo ba?" She asked. "Oo kaya ko na 'to, malaki na'ko." I said then she chuckled. "If you say so." She said.

It's almost 6:40pm and nandito na kami sa bahay nila. It's really beautiful tho. "So dito nalang?" I said. "Yeah, thank you for coming with me, Ree." She said. "No problem, Sandra." I said. "Sige na, it's almost 7pm na din pala, buti nalang madaming tao pa saamin ng ganitong oras, bye Sandra. See you tomorrow." I said. "Okay, bye Ree! Ingat ka sa pag-uwi." She said.
