41 - Treatment

"Itadori..."

"Mio?" He looks surprised to see Mio there. Fast, Yuji lift Mio before he rushed- to his room. That what makes Mio surprised. Yet, she choose to trust Yuji. 

The two arrived in Yuji's room. As it's quite late at night, Yuji switch on the lamp before he carefully put Mio on his bed. He told her to remain calm as he's looking for bandages and anything necessary. 

Mio nod, waiting. Yuji occasionally exit his room, before he came back with some ice packs in a large basin. Mio knows what he's going to do. She shook her head, telling him that she did not like the way the ice would feel on her ankle. Yuji shook his head.

"No. I'm going to put the ice on you. No more talk, Mio." He said. As he looks so persistent, Mio nod. 

It's cold- but it feels good. It's relaxing. Mio let Yuji do his job, before he dries her feet after 15 minutes of the ice session. Slowly, Yuji bandage her ankle. He seems expert in this, but Mio didn't dare to say any words for now.

The atmosphere seems calm, quiet and it makes Mio happy. 

"Thanks, Itadori. You're helping me, greatly." Mio stated. Yuji stand up, before he grin, wide.

"It's nothing! I'm used to help people injured in my old school. So yeah... Now, you should rest more and avoid using your legs. Lastly, call me Yuji." He winks. Mio smile, before she nod. Maybe, she's now a close friend of Yuji Itadori.

"Thank you, Yuji. It's nice of you. I appreciate your kindness towards me. It's, warm." Mio stated.

Yuji didn't say anything else. In fact, he keep smiling while continue to bandage her ankle. A few minutes of that, Yuji finished. Mio thanked him once again, before she look away. It seems like it's really late at night. Her mind lingers to Satoru's whereabouts. Where is he? Will he be in her room tonight? If he is, she could not bear to look at his face once again.

As her thoughts start to scatter around, Yuji clears his throat. Mio seems to have lots in her mind.

"Um, you can sleep in my bed if you want. I can sleep on the floor." He stated. Mio smile, wide he said that.

She feels happy, that there are people who truly cares for her. Even though, he's just a friend.

"Thanks, Yuji. I appreciate your kind gesture. Sure, I'll take your bed for tonight." Hence, Mio lay down and goes to sleep.

"Wait, Mio-"

It seems like Mio is fast asleep, as she didn't even change her clothes from earlier. Yuji didn't mind his bed would become dirty, but he's afraid that Mio might be uncomfortable that causes by the bloods, wounds that she's having right now.

Well, whatever. As he thought that Mio might want to use his bathroom later, Yuji grabs a clean towel that he has never use even once and an oversize hoodie. It's large for him, so it might be larger for Mio if she use it. Yuji also write a simple note before put it at the small table beside his bed. Yuji decided to take another trip to the pantry, having a late night snack.

It's around 5 in the morning, where Mio woke up by the cold temperature she's having. Her eyes twitch a few times, as there's a small and a little light enters her eyes immediately right after she open her eyes. She looks around, realizing that she's not in her own room. She's panic for a while, but she realized what happened before. Mio take a deep breath, before looks around. She realized a simple note rest on a towel with an oversized hoodie.

Mio look at the floor. Yuji is sleeping soundly there. He didn't snore or anything, just a normal way to sleep. Mio smile, before she grabs the things that Yuji prepared for her and head straight to the bathroom. Mio take a bath after she put away all of her clothes. Her legs feels good, surprisingly. Well, she still has a little pain to walk, but it is fine.

After a few minutes of taking a bath, Mio changed into a fresh clothes before she took everything that supposedly stays in Yuji's room to his dirty laundry basket, like his towel and his dirty bed sheets. Mio decided that she should go back to her room for the morning, she thought?

Hence, Mio slowly heads back to her room. Good news, it's empty and no one is there. Happy, Mio lay down before she grabs her phone. It's already died, 0% battery. Mio grabs her cable, before charge the phone. She let the phone rest, before continue to lay down. Mio rolls around to the best position she could. Not really rolling if you could say. 

As Yuji's treatment from last night, her ankle feels better than the first time she had the pain. Maybe, she could let Yuji do what he did last night? It's also cost free and the journey does not need any gas to use. She only need to get Yuji to her room or she go there. Also, she need to prepare some ice and bandages. Easy task, Mio suppose.

Then suddenly, her peace of mind is interrupted by lots of notifications sound coming from her phone. As Mio could feel that she will go angry if she didn't stop the notifications, she harshly grabs her phone before read. Surprise, Satoru chat her. He called at least 40 times. 50+ missed calls on the notifications and 100+ of text messages. Weird, too weird.

Why did he called and texted her? He could just come inside her room and say a few things, right? Besides, he's the first one who left her alone last night. As Mio didn't want to say anything much, she decided to give Satoru a calls after she saw his last text for her. It's about 10 minutes ago. 

Her phone rings a few times, making Mio gulped. After a few seconds, he pick up the phone.

"Shit, where the hell did you go?!"
