49 - Sad

Happy New Year guys!

"Thank you for the cookies. It's very delicious." Mio stated. This is the first time she could taste such fine cookies for a while. Aria grin, widely. Oh, earlier, Aria brought the cookies to her room. The two exchanged name with respect this time. Just that.

"You're welcome. Eat everything, it's all yours." Aria stated. Mio simply nod, but she sigh once in a while too. The cookies is good, the milk too. Yet, her emptiness and sadness is still here, lingering and keep her minds occupied. Aria realized that Mio sometimes lost in her thought, so she decide to not say anything, unless Mio want to share.

"You know, I'm sorry for venting everything out on everyone. You all are just strangers to me, yet, you helps me in everything. But me, I even want to-" Mio stop. Her eyes full of tears, before she sniffs and put down the cookie. 

The good taste are gone, just like that. Her tongue receptors are blocked by her mucus, here and there.

"It's alright, Mio san. Everyone has their own problem. We all understand." Aria said. Mio nod, smile before she wipes her tears.

"Can, can I learn how to bake with you? I- I didn't have a job at all. I only bring my purse with me. I left my phone too." Mio sigh. During everything happened yesterday, she only managed to bring her purse. She left her phone in her room and yeah, run away just like that. 

Aria smile, wide.

"Sure! It's my pleasure to teach you." Aria replied. Mio smile upon her warm respond. She then take another bite of cookie, hoping that she could finish that before continue to sleep.

"Miss Aria... How old are you? Did you bake for living?" Mio asked. She's curious, as Aria do dress like someone work in the bakery or something.

"I'm 32 this year. I do, bake for living. I open a bakery beside Higuruma's office. He's a genius attorney, from what I heard. Dr. Neji loves talking about people." Aria explained. Mio nod, understand.

"Can I, work with you? I don't want to be a burden to Higuruma, since I would technically live here. If you don't want to pay me, it's okay. I'll try to work at another place I could." Mio looks confident. This time, she'll take no shit from anyone.

No more sorcerer world, no more Satoru Gojo.

Aria grin, wide.

"Well, I do want to have a worker or two with me. Just, promise me you would not over worked or something. You're pregnant, remember?" Aria stated. Mio nod.

"I'll do it. Don't worry, Aria. My body could handle more than you could think."

"Yeah, yeah little miss. Now, go to sleep. If you want to brush your teeth or something, I've put my extra toothbrush in the toilet for you. Sleep well. I hope you will have a good day tomorrow." She winks, before waves at Mio.

Mio nod, before she smile.

Hence, in the very morning, Mio woke up and make breakfast for Higuruma. As she didn't really eat in the morning, Mio thought that she could go to the doctor today. As for Aria, she intend to work as a baker, but she need to receive injection before she could start. Well, whatever. She will do anything to survive.

She do the laundry too, since it's already full. Hiromi seems to dry his clothes inside the house too, as Mio could see the pole racks at the back. So, it's a two storey without a balcony. Thank goodness, he use the antibacterial detergent and indoor detergent for the task. He must be 30's or something. Judging, Mio doesn't really think that Hiromi and Aria are in relationship at all. Maybe, Hiromi is single?

"What are you doing?" Hiromi's voice makes the red hair turn around. Mio smile, before she answer.

"Morning, Higuruma. I'm doing your laundry since you're just awake. Also, the breakfast is ready. I'm surprise how you keep your ingredients that fresh." Mio stated. Hiromi sigh.

"You can just leave it to me, Mio." He replied. Mio shrug, didn't want to hear his thoughts.

As Hiromi didn't see any chances that Mio would say anything, he head straight towards the dining table. He sit at his usual place, whenever he sits alone at the table or with guests. Mio cook some pancakes. He remember that he bought that before. Also, he didn't know where did Mio could find chocolate drizzle that supposedly gone missing.

Women.

Mio came back to sit beside Hiromi. He kinda realized that the pancakes are just enough for one person to eat. He didn't want to comment anything about it, because maybe, Mio already ate before he exit his room. That's possible.

"I want to work with miss Aria. As cashier, I think. Also, I want to go to Dr. Neji's clinic after this." Mio stated. Hiromi nod. Well, he have works to do too.

"Very well. If you're going to see Neji, I'll give you some money." He wants to take out his wallet, but Mio refuse.

"No, please! I- I still have money. I-"

"With that xx money, you hardly buy a candy from the street, kid. Take my money." He sigh. Not sure why, but ever since he saw that mini accident, he feel sorry for Mio.

"Higuruma, you're too nice to a stranger. I- I can't accept that. I barely do nothing inside your house. I'm not even that educated too. I don't even have my driving license. I, I don't want to be a bother." Mio sigh.

Before she don't really need a car for some specific reason. This time, Mio wants to live her life as a normal citizen. She needs money, she need to work like normal citizen. She need car too. As she didn't want to burden Hiromi more, Mio thought that she need to learn how to drive too. But yeah, she's currently pregnant. 

Right after her family abandoned her, she found comfort in strangers. Weird, but she just clicked in right after. Maybe, it's not that bad if she stay like this forever.

She tap her lower stomach. Somehow, she feel gentle. Her first child, she will shower her own child with love, and without him.

"I don't really mind, Mio. You can stay as long as you want, but don't be a shut in. I'll help, okay? After this, I'll get some documents for your divorce things. Do you know where I could meet your ex husband?" Hiromi asked.

Mio sigh. Mostly, people would not see the school unless they're invited or they know they way. But yeah.

"I'll go with you." Mio said.

"Okay."
