19 - Fake

In the evening, Mio greet the other three first year. As she imagine, they start to bombard her with lots of question. Of course, Megumi told the two to slowly ask. Mio is still resting. She just got back, so she's tired. Nobara and Yuji understand that, so the three of them want to make some food for Mio. It's for celebrating her 'training' with Satoru.

Mio didn't say much. She just smile. Yet, only Yuji could make out that something is wrong with Mio. Her usual smile become fake. She didn't smile more and she didn't react on the first call. Nobara and Megumi noticed that too, so everyone gather beside her like ducklings to its mother. Mio simply chuckles.

"I'm thankful that everyone concerned about me, but please. I'm okay." Mio calm everyone. She stated. Nobara didn't push anything more, same goes with Megumi. For Yuji, he wants to say something, but he remain silent. Mio know what he want to say, but she hope he has some common senses.

"Well, if you say so. But please, tell us if anything happen, okay? You have this emo kid to help you, this ugly pink man to hear you out and the pretty me. So, don't stress yourself and keep everything inside you, alright my dear Mio?" Nobara tap her cheek with her two palm.

Mio smile widely, before she nod.

"Sure, Nobara chan! I can do that." Mio tap her arm. Nobara smile, before she remove her palm away from Mio's face. As Mio want to talk about something, someone enters the pantry. Well, everyone could guess who he is. Mio simply remain quiet when her gaze meets his blindfold. He already changed his glasses to blindfold.

"Hi everyone!" His usual, annoying voice lingers in the pantry. Of course, Megumi looks annoyed along with Nobara. Being Yuji, he seems excited when he saw Satoru. He jumped towards Satoru before give him a hug. Satoru purposedly turn off his infinity so that Yuji could hug him.

Mio gulped, before she nervously plays with her fingers under the table. She look the other way, as she's scared. She could still feel his strength, pushing her to his car's door earlier. Yuji then offer that with hair to sit in the group. The other two annoyed, as the man child seems too happy that time. Mio didn't say anything, instead, she continue to look away.

"Say, sensei. What did you two do during the whole week?" Yuji ask, before he sit beside the white hair. Mio look at Yuji a few times, before she look at Satoru. She's hoping that he would give a good answer, instead that shitty answer.

"Oh, Mio and I engaged with this special grade curse. I defeat it with just a blink of eyes after Mio got hit. She injured, so she need to rest in bed for a few days. Poor her to become bedridden just after a day arrived." He chuckles.

Mio's face flushed in red. That's not what really happen, but she feel embarrassed! Satoru literally saying that she's useless. He just fabricate his words so that it doesn't sound so bad. Mio shook her head.

"Well, it's nothing! I just, got hit a little bit." Mio didn't know what to say either. Damn it Mio, why your brain becomes useless in this situation?

"A bit? You nearly broke your ankle." Satoru making out another answer. Mio tap her thighs a few times, stress. She glared at Satoru. As Yuji realized that Mio feels uncomfortable upon Satoru's words, he cough. Mio look at Yuji, while she bite her lower lips.

"Um, anyway... Why you're here, sensei?" He asked, changing the topic. Satoru clears his throat, before he grin, widely. Mio didn't say anything, but she looks relief when Yuji changed the topic. Yuji noticed that the atmosphere, the tense on Mio literally gone after topic changed. He then stand up to take a few things from the fridge.

"Oh, I'm here just because I'm here." He replied. Megumi seems annoyed by his reply. Nobara didn't say anything, but she sigh. She then tap the table. Earlier, they already made food for Mio, but they didn't serve it yet. Hence, Yuji do the job. Well, not alone when Megumi stand up and help the pinkette.

Mio and Nobara exchanged look for a while. Satoru seems busy checking his phone. Mio didn't say anything, except someone suddenly calls her. She's surprised by the call. Nobara did too. The ginger head seems excited to see who's the caller, so she peek at Mio's phone. Mio, who dislike her privacy to be invaded flick her forehead, before she excuse herself.

"Who?" Yuji came with a bowl of his homemade meatballs. Megumi came from behind, holding a few things too. Nobara stand up before she help the black hair man. Megumi seems struggle, which nearly make Nobara laughs.

"Oh... It's Aki. I'll take the call. You guys can eat first." Mio stated. Yuji and the other two nod, before Mio left the room. Nobara smirk when she heard that name.

"Aki? It's her boyfriend right! Mio told me everything about their relationship." Her eyes sparkle, hungry for another gossip. Megumi sigh. He rolls his eyes. He shook his head. 

That really makes Yuji and Nobara surprise. Well, Nobara surprised because of Megumi's action, but Yuji surprised that Mio had a boyfriend? For Satoru, he remained quiet. But, he slowly turn off his phone. He smile.

"I'll be back. I'm going to the toilet." He said. 

"Sure." Megumi replied. He really wants that white hair to go as far as he could from him. It would make his world becomes happier and peaceful.

Meanwhile, Mio is standing quite far from the pantry. She pick up the call. Mio is waiting for Aki to say something. But, Mio could only hear someone sobbed in the line. Worried, Mio starts the conversation first. She clears her throat first.

"Aki... Are you there?" Mio asked. Again, she could hear sobbed from the line. But, it starts to subside.

"Mio... She... She's dead." Aki said. Then, he finally let out a loud cry. Mio panic, but she remain calm.

"Aki, please. Who's dead? I don't understand." Mio hold herself from crying too. His tears are genuine. Aki cried for another woman. That woman must be very special for him.

"Himeno... She-"

Mio's phone got grab by someone else. She surprised by the sudden action, before she turns around.

"Sensei?" Mio tries to grab her phone back, but Satoru push her arm away.

"Stay away from her. She's my wife!" Satoru hung up the call, before he throw the phone away. Mio looks disbelief.

"Gojo!!" Mio yelled.
