35 - Second Mission

Warning, eating disorder (?)

Ever since that day, everyone in the first years could see that Mio and Satoru didn't talk to each other at all. Mio remain silent, keeping her pretty mouth shut, sealed tight. It's bad blood between the married couple. Sometimes, they're just sitting side to side, but the atmosphere could choke people to death. Well, the three didn't want to meddle further, but Mio seems stress lately. She starts exhibit the symptoms of- eating and throw up nowadays. 

Mio becomes skinny, yet her figure didn't affected that much. Just, most of them could hear she eat and vomit after lunch. It's not like she do that on purpose. Ever since- Mio shows her disappointment to Yuji about telling Nobara and Megumi about her husband, she starts to become sick when eat. Well, she don't really want to eat, but she forced herself to. She could finish the entire meal, but she will throw up 10 minutes after that.

For Satoru, he seems busy. Well, not sure. The first years asked Kiyotaka Ijichi about Satoru's whereabouts. Yet, Kiyotaka said that Satoru should be around, because no special grade missions are up, yet. It's been a week, but he didn't come back at all. Mio didn't mind to not see him at all. But, it makes her annoyed since he kept posting a few pictures of him and some women making out.

Mio wants to throw her phone and break it repetitively, so much. She hates the fact that he kept on his habit to sleep around with another women. No only one woman, not only two. He even showed her a picture of threesome he just did recently. Mio feel disgusted. Yet, she is still thinking how to exit this fucking situation. She will never ask help from her family ever again.

"Mio? Are you, okay?" Nobara asked. It's been a while since the four had lunch together. Mio is standing near the sink, as she just finish throwing up some liquid food that should not make the sink clogged. She look at Nobara, before shook her head.

"I'm fine. Why?" Mio asked. Nobara bite her lower lips, before nod.

"Well... We got a mission. We'll go right after this. Would you be there too?" Nobara asked. She looks worried, so much. But, she didn't show that through words. Mio simply smile, nodding. She tap Nobara's shoulder.

"Sure. I'll go. I'm going to get ready first. After all, that's our responsibility as sorcerer, right?" Mio said, before she left the pantry. The other two men remain silent on the table as the red hair simply walks away.

Yuji sigh, before she chug his drink. It's painful to see his classmate, his crush, be like that. Why, why would the heck her family did that to her? Why Satoru, his respected teacher do this to Mio? Is she that bad? She's the sweetest girl Yuji ever saw. But why, why would she live like that?

Mio is sitting in between two men. She's on the middle seats at the back. Nobara insist on sitting on the front, as she dislike to be cramped at back. Mio didn't mind that, though. She agreed, and now, here they are. Megumi is scrolling through his iPad, looking at the information given to them. It's all useful for their mission this time. Nobara is the first one two read it, so she didn't mind they took their sweet time at back.

Megumi clears his throat before pass the iPad to Mio. She nod, simply thanks Megumi before look at the tab. It's the case of the death of people. The similarities found between all the victims are they attended the same middle school, around 20 years ago. Most of the victims reported that their room censored are broken. Even though the technician checked, it's still broken alas.

Mio shared what she read with Yuji. The pinkette remains calm, as well as looking at the information they had in the tab. 

"Saitama Urami East Junior High..." Mio murmured. She remember a few things about the school. It's her middle school, along with Megumi. Mio glance at Megumi. He seems to remain calm and collected. Maybe, he didn't want to remember his younger days, where he-

"Did you know anything about that school, Sasaki chan?" Akari asked. She's another faculty member of Tokyo Jujutsu High, same like Kiyotaka. Mio nod, approve her words.

"My middle school, I suppose." She replied, sighing. Akari's eyes widened, shocked by the revelation.

"Eh?!" The other two surprised by the facts.

Well, yeah. Megumi and Mio is in the same grade, same class, but they never interact with each other. Mio lives as a happy go lucky, beautiful and kinda athletic, a bit. She loves talking, socializing and so on. A good person, a class representative. For Megumi, he's a not a timid guy, just an anti-social guy. He doesn't really like to talk. 

It takes weeks for Megumi to speak to Mio.

Well, eventually the two spoke to each other when Megumi accidentally saw Mio exorcise a small curse- not a harmful one- in front of his eyes. She made it looks so easy, like she just scratch her back. Megumi didn't say anything to Mio at first, but Mio realized that Megumi could see what she saw. 

And yeah, Megumi opened up to Mio just like that.

"It's been years since I left middle school." Mio didn't say any words further. She's just too far different from what she was before. She bite her inner cheek. She feel disappointed for herself, letting herself to be kick, thrown around like a fucking rubbish.

"I see. Then, it would be easier for you to communicate with the staff members of the school." Akari stated. Mio hummed in response. She then pass the iPad to Yuji, before she take out her phone. It kept buzz for a while. The other two kinda look at what inside her phone. It's a message from Satoru.

Mio sigh. She didn't want to open it, but she need to. She leans to the seat, before cover the message so that the two would not look, even though they want to. After reading the content of the message, she suddenly laughs, out loud.

That makes the others worry about her mental health, but Akari smile.

"What's so funny, Sasaki chan?" She asked. Mio is still laughing, brushing her tears away.

"Hah. Nothing. Just some stupid, unknown pervert sending me some nudes." She replied.

Then, the situation in the car became denser.
