Mio is already 9 months pregnant. Her stomach does not appear like she's 9 months pregnant, as it's literally looks like it's 5 months or something. Aria is the one who take care of Mio, ever since Mio helped her in her bakery. As Mio got her injection before involves in baking or cooking for customers, still, Aria forbid Mio to do the cooking and just be a cashier.
Though, Aria taught her a few things about baking and the two would bake for each other during their free time. Mio feels happy, as her life becoming a normal civilian and a mother is quite good for her. Though, she still could not get her driving's license as it's too late. Hiromi said that he would let her do that after she gave birth.
Mio simply agree and enjoy her pregnancy time. It's not that hard for her, as her child does not really gave her any hardship. Mio didn't crave much for anything. Maybe, because she's afraid that Hiromi and Aria would be burden by her wish, but that's not it. It's like, everything in her pregnancy is all easy, thanks to God.
Sometimes, during her free time, Mio could feel her child kicking here and there. It's such a happiest moment in her life. A journey to become a mother. Weird enough, she see Hiromi as her own father figure. A brother and a friend, sometimes. For Aria, she's like her sister. Hiromi surprisingly 36 years old! He does not look that young, well, Mio mean-
"Thank you, please come again!" Mio smile to the last customer of the day. He nod his head. Yet, Mio's eyes do fixed on his shoulder.
"Welcome." He tap his shoulder, where Mio look at. She could see a low grade curse feeding off his negative energy. Mio sigh.
"Are you having an intense shoulder pain, sir?" Mio asked. The man look at her, before he nod.
"Yeah. Ever since I got back from hiking, I could feel something, like sitting on my shoulder. It's hurt. I've tried to go to the doctor, but every single medicine is not working. I wonder, I should go to do some purification ritual?" He joked, but Mio simply nod.
"Come here." Mio said. The man looks quite hesitate, but Mio looks so serious. He agree to come forward, before close his eyes as respond.
As it's just low grade curse, Mio simply brush away the curse with her little curse energy, exorcising the curse in the process. As the man could feel his shoulder become lighter, he open his eyes, before move his shoulder a few times. He feels light and fresh.
"Wow. It does feel lighter. What did you do?" He asked. He look amazed at Mio, but the red hair simply smile.
"Nothing. Thank you, sir. Come again later to buy more breads." Mio slowly lower her head, bowing. The man smile, nodding.
"Sure!" He then left the bakery, happy that his shoulder's problem is gone.
"I guess... I can't still leave them to be." Mio sigh. She secretly practice her curse technique in her room, alone. She always look the door no matter what.
Also, Mio find herself interested in martial arts during her pregnancy. As Neji's friend, called Tenten said that she didn't have any complications, it's a low risk pregnancy and so on, Tenten said that she could do martial arts, but moderately and avoid the ones that has too much falling. So yeah, Mio could say that she knew a few kicks.
She should not rely on her inherited cursed technique too much now. Just a bit, but not all.
After Mio turn the sign 'open' to 'close', she put away the apron and tag. Mio lock the door, just in case someone didn't understand that their bakery is close for the day. She then walks towards the kitchen, hoping to see Aria. Mio feels quite tired, so she wants to head back to Hiromi's place and sleep like a log.
"Mio? Are you okay?" Aria asked. Mio yawns, reply with a nod.
"Yeah, I feel quite sleepy. I want to head back and sleep." She yawns once again. Aria then washed her hands, before dry it with a handkerchief that hanged from the cabinet.
"When is your due?" Aria asked. She's fascinated that Mio didn't look that pregnant at all. Yet, she's near her due.
"In a few days... I guess? Well, Higuruma said that he will bring me to the hospital in the morning. A private one, I suppose." She sigh. Mio already told Hiromi that she's fine with public hospital, but he insist to pay for everything. It's like he's excited for his grandchild or something, even though they're not related by blood.
"She's so caring towards you, Mio. What a nice granddad he will be." Aria chuckles. Mio simply nod, before she sigh.
"I'll go first, okay? Thank you, Aria!" Mio waves to the brown hair, before she left the bakery using the back door.
"Be careful!" Aria yelled, making sure that Mio heard that. Mio nod, without looking back.
In few steps, she arrived at Hiromi's office. He's not here, yet. Well, he's handling a case. He told her that he might be late tonight. So, Mio thought that she might as well sleep.
Working for months while having free foods and all make Mio managed to buy herself a phone. It's a simple one, but it's phone. Not a dream one, but useful to call Hiromi or Aria if dangers happened to her.
Just when Mio about to sit down, she could feel an intense pain coming from her lower part. Damn it, she's going to give birth right now?! Fast, she shove her phone that stays inside her pocket. As Hiromi's number at the top, Mio calls him. Fortunately, he pick up.
"Mio, what's wrong?" Hiromi asked.
"Hi- Help... It's hurt... I- Hospital." Mio feels like she's going to die. Damn, so painful! No one ever told her that giving birth would be this painful.
"Alright! Stay there. I'm coming!" Panic, Hiromi leave his client- which fortunately, they already reached their decision about this and that. Hiromi also gives Aria a call, telling her to help Mio since Mio might be in danger.
