Mio and Yuji works together in leaving the scene. As their main target is primarily Yuji, they don't really give much attention to Mio. Yet, it's hard as Mio stars to use her fire arrows. She didn't summon her fire bird yet. Not yet, in her opinion. As Yuji dodge a girl with a blue hair, Mio shoot two arrows at her, before the blue hair girl surprised and move her legs.
Yuji and Mio then trapped, a circle made of them. Mio's eyes turns cold. Should she just burn everyone? But, what if they die? Thinking like crazy, suddenly, Mio surprised that she and Yuji are on a tree. The two look at each other, confused. They're at Aoi's place. Aoi is standing in the circle with angry looks on his face.
"I'll kill anyone who ever touch my best friend. Don't interrupt me!" He yells. As the other looks annoyed by his acts, Mio sigh, relief. As the Kyoto students starts to disperse, Mio jumps down the tree, along with Yuji. She stretch her neck and arms. Mio then summon a single arrow, before she points it on the sky. She release the arrow, before it fly through the tree and to the sky.
It pops, like firework.
"That's pretty, if it's night." Yuji compliments her. Mio smile.
"Thanks. Anyway, what's that, Todo? Kyoto, ganging up on Itadori hm?" Mio summon another arrow, before she points it at Aoi. He shook his head.
"Just another weird and stupid ideas from an old man. Don't worry about it." He stated. Mio put down her arrow and bow, before she look at Yuji. By sudden, she coughs out loud. The thought to throw up right here and now passes her mind.
Surprised by the sudden acts of Mio, Yuji walks closer to her. Mio shook her head, before she run behind a tree and throw up. Her heads feels dizzy, as if the world is spinning around her. After she throw up everything, she came back and look at the two. Aoi is busy fighting with Yuji. Yet, there's something different about them that Mio could not tell.
After a few session of punching, blocking, dodging and kicking, they stop. The two look at Mio who seems tired.
"Are you alright?" Yuji asks her. Mio simply nod.
"Yeah. I feel okay, for now." She stated.
"Thank goodness." He grin, wide.
The three decided to walk together, before Mio could feel something dreadful coming. She look up, before she stop moving at all. The two look at Mio, before they look up too.
"Curtain? Who put the curtain up?" Mio said. Aoi looks worried.
"Let's call the teacher." He said.
Mio take out her phone, before she calls Satoru. Lucky her, he pick up.
"What?" He said, not really interested. Mio sigh.
"Someone put up a curtain. Could you please come here and look?" Mio looks around, as if something is coming at them.
"What do you-"
"Sasaki dodge!" Yuji yells out loud, before Mio turns around. As branches is reaching out to her, Mio snap her finger, making a fire wall. She let out a heavy sigh, as she successfully manage to defend herself. Mio hung up the call, before she summon her fire bird.
Mio lower the fire wall, before she summon her bow and arrows. She look around, looking at the source of the attack. It's a curse. He's tall and has branches as his eyes. Mio glared at him.
"Fire... Huh?" He suddenly speak. Mio hide behind Aoi, as he step forward.
"It's the unregistered special grade. Be careful, you two." Aoi said. Mio nod.
"His attack is based on plants, right? I think I'm his worst opponent." Mio looks confident, but Yuji gulp. He's worried. He shook his head a few times, but Aoi nod, agree.
"We're going to fight him in close combat. Sasaki, I trust you in ranged combat. Cover us too. Let's go, besto friendo!" Aoi jumps in, followed by hesitating Yuji.
Mio pulls her arrow, before she target the curse. She command the fire bird to attack and follow Aoi closely. She's alone, but she could handle herself. As the curse is busy fighting Yuji and Aoi, Mio read all of his attacks pattern before she start to shoot. As her main cursed technique is fire, the curse seems annoyed when she's involved.
Mio is surprised, when the curse suddenly rushed towards her and give her a punch to her cheek. The two were shock, as the movements is too fast. Mio fell to the ground, before she wipes the blood dripping from the corner of her cheek.
"Fire that created by humans would destroy the world. You're a monster." He said. Mio's eyes widened in hatred, before she apply her cursed technique.
"Cursed technique: Hellfire!" Mio chanted. The two surprised, when Mio managed to burn his two eyes-branches that came from his eyes. The curse yell in pain, as he could not see anything for now.
Yuji and Aoi took that chance to take the curse down, as he's handicapped. Mio stand up, before she summon three arrows and points it at the curse. She shoot the arrows, as it piercing through the curse body and burn it. Yuji and Aoi backs off, as the fire starts to burn the curse. It's hot, and they know that Mio intend to kill the curse.
"Monster, huh? I never pray to be born with this power. You called me a monster, so... I guess I'll live the way you expect me to be." Mio snap her finger, making the fire burn faster. It's so hot, that Yuji and Aoi need to take another steps back. Yuji is worried about Mio, as she seems like she'll no back off.
"Hot! Hot!" He yells.
"Indeed, fire is hot, darling." Another snap of finger came from Mio, which she managed to burn and exorcise the curse, reaching it's soul.
He's dead. The unregistered special grade curse died at the hand of Mio Sasaki. When the curse burn into ashes and gone, Mio suddenly fall down, her hands touching the green grass. She stops the fire, as well as taking a deep breath. Yuji walks closer to her, as it looks like Mio used a lot of energy today.
"Can you, walk?" He asks. Mio simply shook her head, panting.
"The curtain..." Aoi said. Yuji look up, as he saw a blue eyes Satoru floating in the sky, looking right at him- or Mio.
