Hellish (Gojo X Mio)

39 - Lifted

"Bro-ther..." Three of them could hear that sorrowful voice of the green curse called Kechizu. Mio stand up, before grin, wide. She then slowly walks towards Kechizu. Well, Eso take his chance to attack Mio, but she turn around.

"Cursed Technique: Hellfire." Mio chanted. The two curses yelling in pain, as both of their arm and legs are burning. No way- how-

"Mio!" Yuji yelled. 

"I suppose that blood could be burn by my fire. But hell... There's a lot of things I could burn other than blood." Mio said. Her face then turns sour, before she hug herself.

In seconds, Mio could feel the rotten cursed technique lifted. She look at the curses. Kechizu could not stand up at all. Most of his body parts are burned, could not be retrieve or be regenerate back. Weird-

"Who sent you two?" Mio asked. 

No answer. Mio grit her teeth.

"I'm trying to be nice here." She said.

No answer once more. Yuji suddenly push her once again, as a sudden attack coming from the other curse. Mio look at the green curse that laying on the ground. Wait, he's dead? He supposedly a special grade curse! How could it died just by her simple technique?

"You killed my brother!" He yelled, before start to attack Mio and Yuji simultaneously. Yuji let himself to be the frontliner, as Mio could not dodge the attack that much. Mio take a deep breath before exhale. She looks around. She summon her bow and arrows, before aim at the curse. 

Mio let the string go when she's confident it would hit the target. As soon as it hit Eso's heart, Mio chanted.

"Hellfire." She chanted.  Eso became distracted, before Yuji give him a punch. 

Surprised, the two did Black Flash together. Taking two Black Flash in a row making Eso die, exorcised.

Mio sigh, before she fall down. She looks around, trembling. Yuji rushed towards Mio, before he tap her shoulder. Mio looks at Yuji, tired. As Mio could not stand up at all for now, Yuji offers to piggyback the red hair back. Mio reluctant at first, but when she fall each time she tried to stand up, well- She need to. She wants to go home badly.

Hence, it's a silent time for Mio. As she's taller than usual, she could looks around without much movements. Yuji seems to walk slowly. Also, he seems like he want to say something too. Mio didn't want to be the first one who start the conversation, so she keep her mouth shut. Yet, Yuji still want to say something to Mio though.

"Did you had a fever? You kept on vomiting." He stated. Oh, that's what he wants to ask. Mio sigh, before she push her hair away. Without hair tie, it keeps getting on her eyes. Maybe, she should cut her bang in this week. 

"I'm not sure. Sorry, Itadori. I'm heavy." Mio sigh. She lift her head, looking at the sky. The full moon is bright tonight. Yuji simply smile. Though Mio bruised, wounded and there's blood everywhere, Yuji could still smell her perfume. It lingers around his nose.

"Eh, no no. You're not! You're light as a feather to me. Don't worry." He assured Mio. Mio simply smile, before she nod. Mio tighten her grip under his neck. It feels warm. Yuji smile, as he adjust the way he hold Mio, so that she would not fall.

"It's such a rough day for us. Hah, what does the future holds for us?" Mio blurted that out. She simply remain silent after she realized that the topic is quite sensitive matter. Yuji hum, before he continue to walk.

"I don't know, Mio. But, I hope that the future holds for us would be better." Yuji said. Well, his cheek turn pink when he suddenly thoughts of something naughty. Well, dirty too.

Mio simply reply with her smile. She look up, before see the moon. The bright moon really makes her heart flutter. Without much thinking and thought, Mio said-

"The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" She stated. Yuji accidently thought it the wrong, poetic way. He gulps as he looks away.

"Mio... I don't think it's appropriate." He said. Mio looks confused. She push her hair away.

"No, I really meant it. The moon, is beautiful tonight. It's bright and I can almost see anything, even without using light." She elaborate her point. Yuji nod, understand that he misunderstand her true meaning. He feel embarrass about it.

Yuji clears his throat, before the situation turns awkward for him. The two continue walking, before they reached Megumi and Nobara. Nobara is the first one to notice Yuji and Mio coming, before she waves her hands towards them.

"You two!" She yelled. 

Mio step down from Yuji, slowly. She slowly walks towards the ginger head and the noirette. Megumi seems to pass out from fatigue. Nobara is there, with some wounds. Mio let out a heavy sigh. She feels proud that her friends survive the attack. She then look at Megumi. It seems like he's okay.

"Sukuna's finger? Really?" She spout it loud. Megumi passed out while holding Sukuna's finger. She raise her brow at Nobara, who seems to shrug it off.

"Well, it's hard. He fought a special grade curse. Fushiguro managed to kill it by activate his domain. He nearly killed me! Gosh. He fend us both by using his domain." Nobara literally dodged her question. Mio sigh, before she slowly sat down.

"Oh goodness. Damn, I just realized that I can't walk a few minutes ago." Mio stated, as she could feel a sharp pain on her ankle. 

"You sprained your ankle?" Nobara rushed to check the red hair. Mio simply grin, before she nod.

"Hehe... Well, I accidently fell earlier. That's all. Itadori helped me earlier." Mio replied. Nobara look at her sprained ankle. Her eyes widened.

"It's already swollen. You need to get it treated, or else you'll be suffering." Nobara reminds the red hair. Mio simply nod, didn't really take it to her heart.

Her minds shift somewhere else. What if, she died earlier? Would Satoru be happy? Would he jumps in happiness if she's gone?

But why, why her minds suddenly thought of that? Satoru is not that significant to her-

"Mio, is it hurt? You cried." Nobara said. Her soft voice didn't really snap the shit out of Mio. She cries, by the pain inflicted in her heart.
